Half the job sites I turn up to, the owner apologises for the mess before I’ve got the camera out of the bag.

That mess is usually the shot.

Here’s what I notice standing there that they don’t. The best material happens in the first ten minutes and the last ten. Before anyone’s touched anything, and right at the end when they’re quietly walking around checking their own work. The middle bit is the part everyone films, and it’s the least interesting part of the day.

Doesn’t matter what the trade is. Someone explains a decision to a customer in one sentence, better than any script I’d write for them, and there’s no phone anywhere near it.

So the brief was one line. Tell people that ^

The interesting part was where this video had to live. Social views are great and all, but the real target was the TV inside, playing on a loop through the day. Someone comes in for a flat white at 11am, glances up, and that’s the whole moment you get. Four seconds, maybe less, no sound.

Which changes how we shot it. Horizontal, not vertical, “Dinner at Café Elle” sits on screen the entire video. No clever build, no reveal at the end, because half the people watching won’t see the end. Whatever second they catch, they get the message.

Then the visuals had to carry the rest. Pizza coming out. Pasta moving in the pan. The ambience once the light drops. People actually eating and talking. Not one hero dish shot forty ways, but the full picture of what a night there looks like, because that’s what makes someone decide to try a place.

Same video is now pinned on the page, so anyone who finds Café Elle for the first time sees it.

We shot the whole thing with minimal staff downtime and minimal food waste. Service kept running, nothing got cooked just to sit under a light and get binned. That’s how we like to operate.

Also the owner @ryanrichani1 made us try everything. We can confirm this place is incredible and you NEED to book in a table asap

The @blinktmediaco effect.

Smaller businesses like @atraperformance are the ones that get us excited. Lowkey, honest, extremely good at what they do, and barely anyone outside the workshop knows it yet.

We don’t just turn up with a camera. We build the community, set up new offers, coach on content and social, and make sure the attention converts.

The auto space is saturated, but the bar is extremely low. Especially in western Sydney. So we see this as nothing but an opportunity to stand out and be the best.

These are no upsells. We do this to make sure the content we film for you performs as best and has the highest chance of getting you results.
