NEW CONSIGNMENT RATES: I am updating the rates that I charge on CGC graded consignments in my eBay auctions. Why choose me over other options? My rates are similar (if not lower) than the rates that you’d pay by selling on your own account. Books are listed the same week as received (auctions end every Sunday/Monday night); payouts are sent the following Monday (one week after the auctions end). Payout can be sent via check or online transfer. I have a large following who bid in my auctions each week, so the prices realized tend to be higher than if selling on your own. Are there cheaper options? Yes. Are there larger platforms? Yes. But do any of these other options get your books listed the same week as received, with a 100% sell through rate, at a reasonable price, with a fast payout schedule? I would argue that they do not. High grade copies of Casper the Friendly Ghost 7 (first Harvey issue), Little Audrey 25 (first Harvey Casper); front covers to Detective 73 & 140, raw Mad 1. First appearance of Mighty Mouse in comics (Terry Toons #16 from January, 1944). Terry Toons #38 (November, 1945) is considered to be the first appearance of Mighty Mouse, but this full page ad appeared in the title nearly two full years before this date. I don’t think many people are aware of this, and it’s a tough issue to find in general (I’ve tried to keep nearly every copy that I’ve come across over the past 20 years, and I only managed to get five copies).
