That is all she wrote, folks.

Another day, another lesson, another reason to trust the process.

Ohhh mannnnnn I’ve missed this place! Life gets crazy busy and I don’t always get a chance but when I do I love supporting all my friends stores in town! Getting some good protein in this morning after a gnarly workout! 🥵 by @blissbates

Okay, so maybe slow work is not so slow after all.

The quiet work adds up faster than people think.

Slow work is the best work.

It may not look like much from the outside, but this is where good horses are made.

Good horses take a lot of little things done right, every single day.

This is part 1 of our Williamson Hay vlog series: real hay, real barn life, and the kind of daily routine that keeps the program moving. Quality feed is not flashy, but it matters.

Thank you Williamson Hay for supporting the horses behind Bliss Bates Performance Horses.

Coaching during a lesson, part 2.

One correction at a time. One better feel at a time. That is how the process works.

Coaching during a lesson, part 1.

Good coaching is not about making it complicated. It is about making the next step clear.

Super super proud of my horses tonight 💗 Got to the barrel race when they were on the big drag (there was only 52 entries) Mom went and entered for me while i tried to get both horses ready, she came back and helped me get them ready and hopped on Iceman to warm him up while I warmed up Shakira. (By the time we got to the arena they were done with the big drag) I ran Shakira and then switched horses in the alleyway and hopped on Iceman and ran him and he made a super pretty run, as well as Shakira, even with me losing my stirrup at the first. Both horses handled tonight incredibly and I couldn’t be more blessed. Thank you so much @blissbates for helping me so so much tonight and for my lesson on Shakira yesterday. None of this would be possible without you mom 💗 @belinda_slayton_bates @bates_barrel_horses_llc @provision_probiotics @erinking1983 @turnagainfrenchman taken in Young County Arena by @blissbates

Lesson breakdown, part 1.

The little details matter because they are what make the bigger pieces work.
