POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Hi! 👋🏻 I’m Beth! Welcome to my new official insta! This is my first time sharing anything publicly on instagram so I’m both nervous and SUPER excited to share my journey and travels with you all!

I wanted to kick off my first post by introducing a little about myself. 🙃So if I don’t know you, it’s SO nice to meet you! I’m Beth and I can’t wait to get to know you all as well! 🫶🏻

I’m a born & raised New Yorker 🗽🍎. I always joke that my career since college has been “a mixed bag”. I am also very single, but I’ve learned a lot about loving myself and won’t settle for anything less than I deserve in that dept! 💖Another fun fact about me is I’ve been sober since 2014. 🙌🏻 I could write another LONG post about that but I wanted to note that bc you can ABSOLUTELY have the BEST time traveling sober (and solo)! 🎉

I think I officially got wanderlust ✨ when I was about 12 years old, traveling to Israel 🇮🇱 for my bat mitzvah. At 17 I went on a summer trip to Vietnam 🇻🇳 with several other NYC kids on a summer program and had my mind blown!

No matter what happens in life, it all comes back to travel ✈️ for me. I love to explore other countries and cultures and most of all meet new, amazing people & make new friends! 👯‍♀️❤️

I am obsessed with exploring all our world has to offer, making new friends & learning about all the other cultures in this amazing world of ours. 🌍

I’m passionate about creating travel content, sharing any cool spots I find along the way, sharing all my amazing hotel rooms & hopefully inspiring other sober solo female travelers to live their best lives & explore more along the way! ✨

As for the photo 📸: This was taken in amazing Costa Rica 🇨🇷 at the breathtaking Fortuna Waterfall. A true pura vida moment! ✨I promise to post more pics and reels in the coming days and months.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for following my journey and please drop some info about you below👇🏻! I can’t wait to get to know all of you! 💖

✨These 5 things have kept me sober👇🏻

1. Practicing Gratitude

You may have noticed I share my weekly gratitude on here but I normally make both a daily inventory & gratitude list at the end of every day. I always end my gratitude posts by asking what you’re grateful for, because gratitude really helps to cultivate a positive mindset.

2. Gym/Fitness

Just because I’m sober doesn’t mean all my problems and frustrations magically disappear. I’ve found working out (most of you know, I love boxing 🥊) to be one of the healthiest outlets for me.

3. My sober family

Having a supportive community of other likeminded sober people to connect with just makes things easier. It’s also so important to have a sober community to support you, especially in the tough times when you think a drink might be the answer.

4. Therapy

For me, personally, this has been a game changer. Spoiler alert, I’ve had A LOT of trauma in my life: before I drank, when I drank & through my sobriety. While having a sober community is great, there are some things that I simply need a professional for.

5. Meditation

Whether it’s more spiritual for you or just about pausing, breathing and letting go of stress & anxiety, meditation has been key in helping me pause and take a beat when things get tough or stressful.

These are just a few of the things I’ve felt helpful in the last few years of sobriety.

If you’re new here, Hi, I’m Beth. Former party girl, and couldn’t imagine my life anyway other than sober now. I’m passionate about traveling the world 🌎 (mostly solo) but ALWAYS sober and encouraging you to do the same! 🩷

If we haven’t met, I’d love to connect - say hello in the comments!

What else would you add to this list?

Very grateful to be celebrating 12 years of sobriety today! 🥹

This has honestly been one of the most challenging years of my life, but I’m truly grateful that at no point did I think that picking up a drink or getting wasted was the solution. The truth is that while it might make you feel better in the moment, it’s not a real way to solve your problems.

Through all the ups and downs - this life is better than I could have ever imagined and I’m so grateful for my sober life. 🥹✨

So today, just a little reminder that you can do absolutely anything you put your mind to but the decision has to start with you! ❤️ by @blissfully.beth

Postcards from Positano 🇮🇹

I came to the Amalfi coast to see the sights & for more affordable luxury in Atrani. I left a Positano convert. 🍋

The second I arrived in Positano, I didn’t want to leave. I can’t help that I have caviar taste 🤷‍♀️. Some people are budget travelers. TBH, I am NOT those people.

Positano is THAT girl. Colorful buildings cascading down the cliffs, the sound of the sea, the energy, the people, the pasta—everything about this place screams luxury without trying. It’s the kind of town that makes you understand why people spend their entire savings on a week here. (I get it now. I’m sorry, Atrani).

Real talk: I only did a day trip from Atrani. HUGE mistake.
Next time I’m staying here or in Capri, because apparently I’m just a sucker for the finer things and I’m ok with it.

If you’re planning an Amalfi coast trip and want help deciding between affordable luxury (Atrani) vs full-on splurge (Positano), that’s literally what I do. Link is in bio (Along with blog posts about everywhere I’ve been posting about). 👀✨

Happy Holiday weekend! ❤️ taken in Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy by @blissfully.beth

When Positano & Capri are giving luxury prices, Atrani is giving luxury vibes without the sticker shock 🙌🏻

This tiny village (like, genuinely tiny) is the affordable, charming alternative to the instagram-famous Amalfi coast towns. Less crowded, more authentic, and only a 10 min walk to Amalfi town if you want the energy.

Perfect for solo travelers who want that coastal magic without the chaos (or the uber expensive hotels).

Why Atrani:
🍋 Way more affordable (hotels, food, everything)
🍋 Actually walkable & intimate (no tourist crowds)
🍋 Perfect solo traveler energy (small enough to feel safe, big enough to explore)
🍋 10 min walk to Amalfi if you want more action
🍋 The charm is REAL (not staged for instagram)

This is where you go when you want the Amalfi coast experience without ALL the summer crowds.

Don’t miss visiting Le Arcade for seaside pizza 🍕 that hits different!

Have you found an affordable Amalfi gem? Tell me i’m not the only one obsessed with Atrani 👀 taken in Atrani, Amalfi Coast, italy by @blissfully.beth

10 days in Florence taught me what slow travel actually means.

Piazza Michelangelo, The Arno, Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce & The Duomo. How lucky am I that these iconic views became my office backdrop, my afternoon escape & my evening serenity. 😍

As a digital nomad in Florence, I learned that the best travel happens when you actually slow down and settle while traveling. This was one of the first places I slowed down on my marathon tour through Italy. I spent 10 full days in Florence, just exploring by day and working by night. Think mornings spent sipping cappuccinos from a café with the most incredible views. Afternoons pre-work, getting delightfully lost in art and history. Dinner breaks (aka my lunch hours on East Coast time) tasting ALL the authentic Florentine steak I could manage—with of course some incredible pasta and paninis thrown into the mix—fully present, fully sober, fully alive (and much more obsessed with carbs than usual - obviously).

Florence proved to me that you can have it all: meaningful work, adventure, and presence in the moment to take it all in. Not to mention that work-life balance that I think we all desperately crave. Turns out all you need to feel like you’re living your best life is to slow down and take it all in.

Feeling inspired to start posting again & know I have SO much to share from the last several years! As the new year approaches I realize how far behind I am. 😅

Honestly, you don’t have to comment, but I am curious to know if you guys are in for this? 🤍 Where should I post from next?
