An incredible October weekend!
Although we didn't win the game between Southern University on Saturday. Friday Night Lights were shining bright. Congratulations to every inductee in the 2026 Soorts HOF Class.

This was an event where we were Honoring our Past, Celebrating our Present and Building our Future. Thank youuuuu for allowing me to serve as the Mistress of Ceremony. I hope I did the University proud.

I'm still wondering how we lost the game to Southern 🤔
Well -the Tailgate was fun, the atmosphere was welcoming and the Sun was beaming...it was so hot..

Finally, I closed out the weekend watching a Houston Texans win with the big reveal that we acquired Junior! MHJ🏈
Yesssss the bounce back is about to be bananas.. Jacksonville y'all ready? You should be.. You're already in London.. don't know who put this schedule together but whatever... we are ready...Again..Congratulations Inductees..

So I'm usually the one who does not get into political debates, harp on anyone's personal party preference and mind my business when someone says they don't like voting 🙄

However, I had the distinct pleasure to hear from several individuals last night who are true fighters for voters rights. They expressed their views, shared their values and stood on principles.

The charge they left the audience with is what caught my attention. They had three words for anyone who feels there is a need for change. Anyone who believes their vote won't count and Anyone who have been hesitant to go to the polls.

The three words were: "Just Show Up"..

Mnnmmm makes sense to me. You can't complain if you don't show up.

On tomorrow I will pay my respect to two beautiful souls! I met them both at Prairie View A&M University on two different occasions while I was a freshman on campus. We instantly became friends. 💜💛

Evan was my track team mate and she always had a smile that lit up every room she entered.. She was small in stature but Baaabyyy.. this one right here...Play with her if you want and See what you get....Evan Evan!

Tanya was the one who introduced us to the "shack"..Ooooo-weeee..Barrett Station, Crosby.. you name it.. we were there..food, family, fun... they had it all... You will never and I mean never find another SHACK...

I pray God's strength that both families get the comfort they need surrounded by the love from family members...RIP and sleep well my friends.. You deserve these wings ❤️

The memories will have of you will forever live on 🙏🏾 by @blk_foxx
