PROM✨
thank you for all those that showed up and supported our fifth prom💕 this is an event that comes from a place of wanting to create a space grounded in safety, love and joy and we are happy to be able to do it! With many conversations of what safety looks like, how it feels and our responsibility as a community we are thankful to be able to create spaces that reimagine and reclaim spaces that otherwise can be unsafe, alienating and hurtful.

Thank you to thee blkgurls that showed up and made the event so special

Block party photo coverage for @blkgurl_🎉

Last Saturday I captured the Blkgurl Block Party and it was a lovely time. It was nice seeing the community that they built through their events and even seeing members of the book club I attend too! You could see the love put into the event through the activity stations, the food spots, the music and feel the warm vibes from the attendees. Congrats again to them on the grant and recognition they received for all their hard work in Ottawa💜
