Come prep our 1200 daily driver G80 M3 with me, for some racing next week at Maple Grove Raceway.

First up, I need to swap out my Motorsport Gold @apexwheels for my… Motorsport Gold Apex wheels. For my daily setup, I run 20s wrapped in @continental_tire DWS 06 Plus. Love these tires as a daily setup, even in the wet and the snow.

For my racing set up, I dropped the wheel size down to an 18 in the rear and a 19 in the front with Mickey’s for extra traction.

Since I had both sets of wheels off, it was the perfect time to give them a bath. Since they were a disaster, I used @blktiedetailing wheel cleaner and all I can say is wow. Just look at the pics yourself to see how incredible this stuff is.

While I was in the cleaning spirit, I also gave it a wipe down with Blk Tie’s quick detailer. Since my car has a satin finish with the @xpel stealth wrap, I don’t like using spray waxes and things that are overly glossy. Their quick detailer worked incredible to preserve my car’s finish.

I then installed my new @eastcoastdrivelineinc carbon driveshaft to make sure we can handle all the power. If you’re new to the car, I put a dyno graph at the end. It’s spicy thanks to @hc.performance who tuned it on @protuningfreaks Bootmod3.

When you’re pushing big numbers, you also need to make sure you’re protecting your engine. As we always do, we did a @liquimoly.usa.canada oil change with some MoS2 in there for EXTRA protection.

For this car, we run a TON of @sunocoracefuels E85R and it NEVER disappoints. Sunoco’s fuel is crazy consistent and is the best fuel I’ve ever run in any of my cars, which is why we keep coming back to it.

In the pics you’ll see my balancing act with my @rk_titanium exhaust. Yes, it’s really that light. Weighing around 15 pounds, not only does it save weight which helps you go fast, but often times I’m working on my car by myself and frankly it’s just really heavy and uncomfortable when you have to drop an 80 pound exhaust by yourself. With this, I can safely remove it any time, without a second set of hands.

As far as the turbo is concerned, we run a @precisionturbo 7275 from @jdyperformance which kicks butt.

Funny how full circle life gets…
Some of my earliest memories with cars were just washing them with my dad in the Texas heat. Taking care of your things. Sweating a little. Doing it right.

Now it’s me and my little dude, three years old, doing the same thing.
