SLAY // @rwndparty Designing for nostalgia at one of Calgary’s favourite parties never gets old. Years of posters, countless throwback anthems, and plenty of reasons to keep hitting rewind. Cheers to another great weekend. Here’s a look back at a few of our favourites ➡️ by @blkwtrcreative
VIRTUE // @calgarypride Be BOLD 🌈 Visibility matters. Representation matters. Creating space for people to show up as themselves is work that continues all year long. As pride month reminds us, those conversations extend far beyond June. A digital platform designed to support Calgary Pride’s mission and Calgary’s 2SLGBTQ+ community through connection, celebration and belonging. #pridemonth #wearecalgarypride by @blkwtrcreative
VIRTUE // @porcupineimf Cosmic motion. Strong voices. A brand world built to uplift Indigenous creators and the stories carried across generations. The Porcupine Invitational transforms the night sky into a stage, uniting community to honour culture, ignite creativity, and celebrate the artists at its heart. As we recognize National Indigenous History Month in Canada, we’re proud to highlight a project that creates space for Indigenous voices to be seen, heard, and celebrated, and honoured to have helped bring that vision to life. by @blkwtrcreative
BITE // @chefdarrenmaclean From @shokuninyyc to @nupoyyc. From @eight_cdn to @aftereightcdn. Every concept has carried its own philosophy, and its own relentless pursuit of culinary excellence. This year, Eight was named the No. 2 Best Restaurant in North America. A massive milestone worthy of celebration, but only one chapter in a much larger story. We've had the privilege of helping shape the brands, experiences, and creative that support that vision along the way. Congratulations, Chef Darren 🙌 We're grateful to have been part of the journey so far, and excited to see where the next chapter leads. by @blkwtrcreative
Go where it moves, but know when to swim against the current 〰️ There’s a huge difference between forcing something and fighting for something. The trick is knowing when to surrender, when to push, and when to simply play the waiting game. It’s a delicate dance where timing reigns as the deciding factor between having your voice of reason ignored, heard, or truly understood. Timing changes EVERYTHING. by @blkwtrcreative
Today we say goodbye to a legend. 🖤 Boogs. Bengles. Space Cadet. OG Office Manager. Somewhere up there, he’s yelling at the pizza man, chasing tennis balls through the cosmos, and keeping watch over the rest of us. We like to think he’s still popping up in unexpected places (scroll through for proof). Godspeed, Bentley. 🎾🚀 by @blkwtrcreative
BRB. Off doing dope shit (remotely) while we hunt for our next creative space 👀 Turns out when your office gets demolished, Google assumes you died.. Saying goodbye to our 17th Ave location and marking the end of an era. Alas, we ball. Still here. Sippin’ beers with aliens and scheming up our next chapter. by @blkwtrcreative
DWELL // @davignon_martin Quiet Luxury. Elegant restraint. If everything is big, bold and tries to catch your attention, nothing will. by @blkwtrcreative
