Good Morningggggg, my friend! ✨
As I look back over this past year, I see a lot of closed doors.

Most of the time, we celebrate closed doors as God’s protection. But these doors weren’t closed for that reason. They were closed because of fear, unbelief, unworthiness, and self-doubt.

And those hit different.

Dr. Jones, my therapist, always asks me, “What does the little girl inside of you need in this moment?”

So, if I could rewind to the beginning of this year, I’d tell myself:

Girl, you are worthy. 💜

Take care of yourself.
Walk through the doors fear has kept you from.

You don’t have to wait for a new year, a new season, or a perfect moment.

JUST START.

I knew if I put on my bike shorts and pumped her up before taking Jake to daycare, I’d make it out.

And I did.

First ride back in a long time….

There was something so magical about getting back on that bike, getting out of my head, and just moving.

Maybe I don’t need to have it all figured out right now.

Maybe I just need to trust God.

My 37th trip around the sun is almost here, and if I’m being honest… I don’t love where I am right now.
Mentally. Spiritually. Emotionally.
This past year was filled with a LOT of good things. But I’ve been realizing that good things aren’t always God things.
I recently read: “When the enemy can no longer get you to sin, he keeps you busy.”
And whew. That hit.
Because maybe the distraction isn’t always something bad. Maybe it’s just a life so full of good things that there’s no room left for what God is actually asking of you.
So as I step into 37, I’m getting back to me. Back to discipline. Back to purpose.
I want to live this next year so intentionally that a year from now I look back and barely recognize the woman I was.
Not because I became someone else, but because I became more of who God created me to be.
Less noise. Less distraction.
More obedience. More presence.
I’m not letting another year happen to me. I’m going to be intentional about what I do with it. 🤍
