From the playful Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, to the vibrant Blue-and-yellow Macaw, the majestic Green-winged Macaw, and the elegant Umbrella Cockatoo—every corner of the Bloedel Conservatory felt like stepping into a rainforest. 💚

🌿 Meet Dutchman’s Pipe (Aristolochia elegans), a tropical climbing vine with unusual flowers.

With their curved, pipe-shaped flowers, these fascinating blooms are thought to resemble the smoking pipes used in 17th-century Europe, inspiring the plant’s common name, Dutchman’s Pipe.
