Sprinting through summer here and thought it a good time for a quick reintroduction—especially for my new mountain friends.

The creative behind Blomst ("flower” in Norwegian) is Laura Tenzer, pictured here with the canine boys (human boys less enthusiastic).

I launched Blomst two years ago, nearly two decades after earning my certificate in floral design from the NY Botanical Garden and working in the area.

Owning my own business has allowed me the two things I enjoy most: creative freedom and meaningful connection with clients.

As a trained musician, I approach floral design like a piece of music— individual elements come together in harmony for a beautiful whole.

I would love to create floral “music” for your events and special moments this summer and fall. Booking now through the end of the year in Charlotte and the Linville area. by @blomst.clt

Love this palette and these elements (anthurium, orchid, eucalyptus pods, and always so special, antique hydrangea) by @blomst.clt

Fall centerpieces, bringing all the outdoor colors indoors.
Embracing these colors because, like those beautiful leaves, they don't last forever. by @blomst.clt

Before the guests arrive, the details are already coming together. ✨

From thoughtfully styled bites to beautiful florals and every little finishing touch, we believe the magic begins long before the first guest walks through the door.

At Olive & Oak, we create more than a spread, we create an experience that feels intentional, welcoming, and unforgettable. 🤍

Because when every detail is taken care of, you get to simply enjoy the moment.
