@chrissiglow and I were on the exact same wavelength for this transition: keep the impact, soften the grow-out.

How we built it:

The breakdown:
Kept a heavy foil pattern to connect brightness from the face frame all the way to the back.

Picked up the tiny drop-outs between highlights for a balanced Level 8 lowlight.

For the gloss, we dropped out the perimeter to keep that pop of light, melting an 8.5 from the crown forward for seamless diffusion. Subtle shifts make the biggest impact.
