On October 17, we’re hosting a special open air day party to welcome two artists with a shared love for deep, adventurous, and emotionally driven dance music: @cecilioslowlife and @paolo_msc. Bringing together sounds rooted in house, techno, disco, breaks, trance, and ambient, this is a night for getting lost in the music as our selectors takes us somewhere unexpected.

Cecilio is a Spanish DJ and co-founder of the Berlin-based collective and label Slow Life, alongside Laurine, S. Moreira, and Santi Uribe. Since its beginnings in Berlin in 2011, Slow Life has grown from a close-knit group of record diggers and DJs into a globally recognized underground institution, known for its parties at Hoppetosse and Club der Visionaere, international showcases, and a distinctive approach to music that values timelessness, discovery, and experimentation. Cecilio’s own sets reflect that philosophy, drawing from deep vinyl selections and moving fluidly through house, techno, funk, disco, afro, dub, and breaks in long-form journeys designed to pull the room deeper and deeper into the music.

Paolo Mosca is an Italian producer, composer, and DJ whose work explores the emotional side of electronic music. Blending house, trance, and ambient with soulful melodies, dynamic drums, and atmospheric textures, Paolo has released music on Slow Life and Altered Circuits, toured extensively across the U.S., and played rooms including Hoppetosse in Berlin and Spook in Valencia. His evolving practice has also expanded into live performance and his experimental I.O.N project, pushing his sound beyond the boundaries of the traditional DJ set.

Two artists, deep musical roots, and a night built for those who come to dance and stay for the journey. We’re teaming up with @alleycatmusic to deliver an extraordinary open air event showcasing quintessential dance music. Join us October 17. Tickets available in bio and on Shotgun.

Next Saturday, we’re welcoming Boston’s @rasaaq to the dancefloor for his Atlanta debut.

Rasaaq is the product of an upbringing in diaspora, splitting time between the golden coast of Nigeria and the United States. Guided by a firm belief in the liberating power of dance music, Rasaaq approaches DJing as a world-building art. Wielding varying shades of house, techno, progressive, and breakbeats, his selections invite you to cosmic spaces where movement isn’t a choice, but a calling.

After co-founding the multi-city party Hoppers, Rasaaq has thoughtfully emerged as one of the rising American DJs to stay close to, culminating in residencies with Blur Brussels and Sojourn in his beloved home of Boston. The 25-year old’s craft continues to draw attention domestically and overseas, with sets for collectives and clubs in South America, Canada, and Europe earning the trust of discerning dancers wherever he meets them.

Come experience Rasaaq in the booth and see where he takes the night. P.S. official @alleycatmusic rooftop afterparty at a new space for Bloom. Tickets and location in bio.

Atlanta, we’re bringing a little piece of Paris to the city.

We welcome YOYAKU to Atlanta for a special showcase — celebrating one of the most influential labels and collectives in underground sound.

Joining us for the occasion, Mari.te and Lis Sarroca take control of the room, bringing their own distinct selections and energy to the YOYAKU sound.

Bloomcast 19 is here and this is a special one. Our good friend @girlcop305 has delivered the Hialeah Heat, and acid drenched bass is in the place.

If you know anything about American Underground Dance Music, you’re probably familiar with Girlcop’s work in one way or another. He’s one of the brains behind of Rental Snakes (with bad man @pablo.arrangoiz ), and a key part of the @schematicdotnet . He’s also a prolific producer in his own right, with works spanning and rethinking a wide array of musical influences and genres.

The mix explores club sounds and acid movement from Chicago to the 305.
