Introducing @redbank_studios We are sisters Jo and Nic. Jo was the creator of Red Bank Studios. She has had a love of art and design since her teenage years. Nic joined her a couple of years ago to help out and now they both make handmade bags, pouches, purses and sewn accessories including hanging hearts, pet bow ties, brooches, all made mainly of recycled/repurposed/reclaimed fabrics, canvas and cotton. The addition of embroidery, both hand and machine, patchwork and handmade fabric panels mean that each bag is a truly unique piece. The items are a mix of patterns, from Red Bank Studios and other talented bag makers. My mission is to spotlight the themes of neurodivergence, mental health and how art can help understanding. I want to break down the barriers of subjects to merge my passion for human geography and the arts to promote true representations and identity politic. We’re so happy to welcome @jontofski back for our upcoming autumn market @the_bluecoat on Saturday 24th October! 🍂 Jonathan Edwards is an illustrator and painter. He has been a regular illustrator for the Guardian since the late 90s as well as producing illustrations, character designs for comics, film and animation. He will be selling prints and books of his watercolour paintings based on his travels. Introducing another wonderful maker who’ll be joining us at the end of October for our Autumn Market! 🌸 Hello! My name is Bethany Evelyn and I am the illustrator behind @littlesprigstudio the independant greetings card and print brand! My designs are inspired by my daughters girlhood whimsy and love for nature, along with city life in Liverpool.
