We're a NYC-based non-profit organization that gives new life to flowers while breaking the isolation of those most vulnerable in the community.

One flower can touch many lives. At BloomAgainBklyn, we rescue and repurpose flowers that would otherwise go to waste, transforming them into opportunities for connection and community.

Through volunteer-led workshops, corporate partnerships, our Agents of Change program, and a flower breakdown program, donated florals make their way into the hands of people across Brooklyn and beyond.

Give your flowers a second life!

Through BloomAgainBklyn’s wedding and event flower breakdown service, we transform donated arrangements into smaller bouquets for our community partners. Extend the life of your florals with a second act and know that your flowers are putting a smile on someone’s face!

It’s a great way to celebrate sustainably and spread a little joy, long after the event ends. Learn more at the link in our bio!

One of our #ny1 viewers sent us an email… and told us about @bloomagainbklyn. While anchoring last night… it was cool to toss to my own story. It was also great to witness the work of #bloomagainbklyn #raicesseniorcenter #nyc by @bloomagainbklyn

A little morning flower power to tip off the fall season! Volunteers from the @nba’s Network of Emerging Talent (NET) group teamed up with us for a spirited workshop, making arrangements to brighten the days of residents at @cobblehillhealthcenter and visitors to the food pantry at First Presbyterian Church Brooklyn.

Thank you, @nba, for a slam dunk of a morning!

Climate Week may be over, but our commitment to sustainability continues all year round! At BloomAgainBklyn, we believe climate action can be creative, generous, and rooted in community.

We rescue flowers that would otherwise go to waste, repurpose them into vibrant, joyful arrangements, and share them with community partners serving New Yorkers in need. Through our Agents of Change program, we also bring this message into classrooms by showing young people that creativity and compassion for the natural world and our communities can be part of building a greener future. That’s sustainability in bloom!

On a rainy Sunday morning, BloomAgainBklyn volunteers arranged dozens upon dozens of beautiful pastel bouquets for the wonderful women of the YWCA community. We are so grateful to the Glickenhaus family for generously donating the wedding flowers that made this workshop possible. A special thank you to @lesliemastinevents and @dejuanstroud for their help giving these florals a second life at the YWCA.

Last week, we were joined by @griotcircle to close out the summer season with a little creativity, connection, and floral care. We loved holding a workshop with this Brooklyn-based nonprofit, which supports LGBTQ+ older adults through community, wellness, advocacy, and cultural programming. Together, we spent the morning making bouquets and sharing stories.

A huge thank you to @thebouqsco and @starbrightnyc for generously donating the flowers that made this workshop possible and helped send the summer off in bloom.

“Peaceful” is a word we hear a lot. 🌸 For our volunteers and community partners, being around flowers, working with your hands, and talking with the people beside you isn’t just uplifting — it has real benefits for emotional and mental well-being. Thank you, Barbara Park, for sharing what BloomAgainBklyn means to you.

This summer, we were so lucky to have different cohorts of high school girls from the YW Brooklyn LEAD @ywcabrooklyn come on site to help us create arrangements for our community partners. Thanks for bringing such enthusiasm, creativity, and camaraderie to each session! by @bloomagainbklyn
