So yeah. This is what I managed to do when using TVpaint, Blender and Da Vinchi Resolve.

-

The handsome guy in the middle was animated with TVpaint. overall, he took about three months to finish (given everything else I've been occupied with) with early rough-sketch and line-art. The coloring process was relatively quick though.
-
Then came blender. I used PNG images for all the assets and simply used some keyframes for the positions of the skyships in the background.
-
Then I added fade, text and music in Da Vinchi Resolve.

Pretty cool eh? It was fun. by @bloomantler

He's gone.

I probably should write something more but I just can't.

My beautiful Winston. My dog and brave companion. My brother in arms. Have now passed.

Winston. My friend. My Brother. You have now earned your final rest. Let your father, Griffin the Mighty, raise his head with pride. Let your mother, Mitzi, greet you with her motherly lick on your nose. And of course, Reunite with our little brother, Mac Mac, and his chaotic happiness.

My Winston passed away this 30th of October 2026. Like the leaves of Autumn. He fell silently with Grace and beauty in a royal coat of red.

Rest now, my brother, my companion, my friend, my dog. My Winston.

Farewell.🍂 by @bloomantler

So! As evident as it maybe around my art. I am a huge fantasy fan. The Witcher, LOTR, WoW, Guild Wars 2 and of course ASOIAF AKA Game of Thrones.

The setting in Thrones introduces all these noble houses and their sigils. So I thought it fun to make a sigil for my own family, House Edström.

The background is the flag of Skåne (southern tip of Sweden). where my family share both blood and culture. In the middle is a Harbor Seal, the provincial animal of Bohuslän (a part in western Sweden). Bohuslän is where my family has its roots. Beside that, The seal represents our family's love for the sea and Swedish archipelago.

Now, in Game of Thrones, the noble houses have a saying such as "Winter is coming" or "Ours' is the fury" or "Hear us roar."

I'm thinking that our family have a saying whenever we finish a substantial meal, we then say "Livsandarnas återkomst" for which in English would be "Return of the Life-Spirits."

It is a saying my father says after a meal. As well as my grandfather and his father before him. And when the day comes I myself become a dad, I will pass it on to my future kiddos.

"Livsandarnas Återkomst!" by @bloomantler

So there was this Idea that came into my head. It was when I began comparing the characters from both GoT and LOTR and how most of them basically had their own equivalents... Except for Aragorn. Sure, you could argue that Jon Snow or Ned Stark could fit in his character description.

But then I realized that Game of Thrones had Bronn... Who is pretty much the complete OPPOSITE of Aragorn.

So I thought how hilarious it would be if these two characters interacted somehow. One is a noble, stalwart and kind soul while the other is the other way around.

All in all. I didn't want to put too much effort in this one. I just thought it would be fun.

Here is yet another piece of my EverDawn series.

Jarrod Lionbane is a tough and hardened soldier of Arkydaros. But underneath this valiant and strong figure is a tired and humble soul.
-

Jarrod was born into the noble Lionbane family. A house known for their military prowess.

In his youth, while studying at the Nexus Arms Academy, he was tutored by the esteemed General, Ethias Stormhand.

As the years passed, Jarrod was promoted commander and would later marry a woman from his home town of Mapleville. Lyreen.

But their happiness wouldn’t last.

One day, Jarrod would return home, only to see Mapleville in flames and raided by a Turosian warband. Unfortunately Lyreen would not survive and it left Jarrod broken.

A year would pass. The only thing Jarrod still had of his wife was her pendant. At times he would tuck it out of his shirt to reminisce.

One day, Ethias would receive a report of a Dra’ghaal incursion at the north eastern border. Jarrod joined the battalion.

In the snowy battle. The troops were ambushed and outmatched by the massive barbarians. Ethias was slain and Jarrod was tossed into a gorge with two scars on his cheek.

Jarrod had to find shelter to avoid the snowstorm. So he took cover in a cave to await the next day.

…a rather strange cave.

He would discover glowing blue patterns followed a stark light in the midst.
From it fell a strange humanoid into his arms. A creature never before seen.

As the light faded. The creature’s form became more apparent. A girl with blue features and pointy ears. Clearly not human but not too alien either.

Little did Jarrod know that this child would one day change the fate of the entire world... And him along with it.

Today is book release of ”Det brinner i krusbärsbusken” by Rasmus Dahlstedt.

Im the illustrator behind all the images. There seriously is no word that can truly describe how happy I am to see my work officially opened like this for all to see. by @bloomantler

When I was a kid. I remember these children's artbooks with quizzes and puzzles to solve. Thought I'd do something fun like that.

Try guessing what the two kids are saying.

Also! I thought I would do something more friendlier with my fantasy-world building. Usually it's just war, conflict and blood etc. It would be nice to just balance Things out a little sometimes, ya know.

LORE:
So in the world of Ardenreign. We have the Kydan alphabet. It originated from the middle-continent of Kyda with the spread of the Arkydaros Empire hundreds of years ago. IT became the standard Alphabet for most civilizations.

My all time favorite animal. The wolf.

Especially white wolves. True, they’re not exactly a separate species unless we talk about arctic wolves.

The thing is. Wolves have fascinated with me since I was a child. Their elegance, their ferocity. But also their compassion and empathy towards their packs.

White wolves born from grey-wolves tend to stick out from the rest of the pack. Which is why they specifically resonate with me on an almost spiritual level.

I like being around friends as well as making new ones. All while I feel like I want to be my own person.

And before anyone draw any conclusions. No! I’m not a furry! Hahaha!

Also, this image in particular was based on a dream I had, not too long ago. I was in a black and deep blue forest and I heard howling wolves. They were like white ghosts singing in a beautiful but eerie choir.
Strangely enough I felt myself howling alongside them.

And as a final little trivia, I felt like I needed a new background for my PC.🤣

And here is yet another piece of my EverDawn series.

Showcasing one of my OCs in the world...the main villain nonetheless
---
Imperator Xaros.

A ruthless and powerful tyrant over the realm of Wraxamor. Xaros rules over every flying landmass with a stern ironfist.
He commands entire armies of legions of his own as well as traitors to other nations around the world with the promise of power, order and wealth.

His most frightening quality is his patience. He doesn’t randomly lash out with threats like an infant. He listens and speak softly. His presence alone is intimidating enough.

Though his power doesn’t originate from raw power and intimidation alone. Xaros is persuasive, cunning and manipulative.
According to one of his operatives, he could ”turn the sheep against the shepherd” with fair points and twist them to his cause. The justifications for his actions and methods makes it difficult to question his authority.

But should he ever NEED to be physical in a fight. He makes use of his flying blades. How he acquired them is a mystery.
