Mr & Mrs Burton 🤍

Addison and Rob are high school sweethearts who tied the knot in Cabo exactly ten years from the day of their first kiss.

Their three-day celebration by the ocean was such a true reflection of them… timeless, joyful, and genuine. You could feel how excited they were to finally be married, surrounded by the people who have been part of their story from the start.

I’m incredibly grateful to have captured their destination weekend for them… weekends like these remind me why I love what I do. Even after 15 years, it still feels like the greatest honor to be invited into one of the most important days of my couples lives.

So much more to come from this unforgettable weekend!

A lakeside love story🤍

Shades of blue and warm rust set along the shores of Lake Michigan, the Inn at Bay Harbor offers a setting that feels straight out of a dream. With sweeping views of Little Traverse Bay and the water stretching endlessly into the horizon, it was the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love.

The color palette brought together the beauty of the lake and the warmth’s of the season, creating a design that felt both timeless and full the character.

Congratulations K&J wishing you a life time of happiness and love!

Happy Friday! I’ve been quiet here, but I promise I am working away behind the scenes! I am photographing the last wedding of my 2026 season tomorrow, and am editing SO many weddings and sessions still! Here is a fun photo from K & J’s big day!

A venue hunt from California to Europe, where our search eventually led us to the magic of Jackson Hole and the incredible Snake River Ranch for Jessica and Lauren’s destination wedding weekend celebration!

From the very beginning, we knew we wanted the design to feel like an extension of the breathtaking landscape surrounding us. So naturally, we brought a sage green tent all the way from Illinois, creating a structure that felt as though it had always belonged beneath the Tetons.

Every detail was deeply personal and so wonderfully them. A custom painted mural featuring our two brides on horseback, beautiful nods to Western patterns and textures, and custom menus adorned with the Tetons, mirroring the very mountains our tent overlooked. Every element was thoughtfully layered to tell their story, honor the setting, and create something that felt entirely one of a kind.

And while I could talk about this design forever, the real magic was Jessica and Lauren.

These two absolutely stole our hearts. The sweetest, most genuine humans, with the kind of pure, joyful love that makes you feel incredibly lucky to witness it. Getting to know them, dreaming alongside them, and bringing this weekend to life was truly one of the greatest joys.

J & L, we adore you endlessly. What a privilege to be part of your story! 🤍 PS: stay tuned for ceremony and after party! Couldn’t narrow everything down to 20 photos. 😂

A chapel ceremony, an antique wooden boat ride across Walloon Lake, and a summer night at the country club. Gretchen and Cameron knew how to throw a party.

Getting married at Stephen’s parents' house on the lake made the entire day feel deeply personal from start to finish. Between using the grand staircase in the yard for their entrance and having the water as their backdrop, the views did all the talking. But their favorite moment together was after the first dances, sitting quietly side-by-side on the dock to finally relax, breathe, and soak in the fact that they were officially married.

J & K's wedding day featured the natural beauty of a Northern Michigan summer day- quiet romance and timeless elegance. The @theinnatbayharbor was the perfect backdrop (not far from where the groom grew up). We were treated to sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the most perfect wedding day.

The photographs capture the beauty, but they can’t quite capture the feeling. The scent of fresh flowers. The music echoing through the museum. The glow of candlelight against the architecture. Every element working together to create something immersive, ephemeral, and entirely unforgettable.

A wedding designed not simply to be seen, but to be felt.
