Happy Birthday Bloom Gallery Flowers Studio 💚 by @bloomgalleryflowers

I’m a big believer in the power of a calming presence, as a wedding professional. Because that is what leads us to the ultimate gift on a wedding day - presence, and the ability to soak up the deeply emotional, joyful moments, however ephemeral they may feel.

Jen and Alex flew from Oregon with their families to get married at the San Francisco City Hall, on their 10 year anniversary(!!!).

And of course, it’s their first time doing all this, at a courthouse they hadn’t had the chance to visit yet.

I wanted to create a hands-on experience and gift them the power of presence, on their wedding day at this beautiful building.

From guiding them through the different photo spots, to helping pose the family for different combinations, and creating a timeline with plenty of room to share some laughs, lots of kisses, and many sweet smiles - Jen and Alex were able to ease into their wedding day, with comfort and trust.

In Jen’s words: “We were so comfortable and relaxed with you right away even though it was the first time we had met in person. You gave us such great direction and were able to work with us and our families with ease and it really made all the difference for our little wedding. We are so happy we stumbled upon you and your work and were able to have you as our photographer. We’ve been looking at these all day and are so pleased with how everything turned out” 🤍

If this sounds like the kind of SF City Hall day you’re envisioning, let’s chat! Link in bio to inquire. Dates open for Jan 2027 onwards 💖

This dress was living rent free in my head and then I walked into J’s bridal suite and there she was… it was like it was made for her 🤯

Detailed SF City Hall schedule below 👇

8:30 am meet for grand staircase photos! The staircase gets really busy starting at 9:30 am. if this is a priority for you I recommend coming in before 9am.

9am civil ceremony - Jen and Alex booked an hour long reservation for the fourth floor balcony. You can book this up to two years in advance, but no later than four weeks in advance. My officiant recs @vowsandforever @elope_with_dean_liapis

9:30am family photos - this all depends on the length of your ceremony! I also budget 20+ min for family photos depending on how many groups you’d like and how many guests you have with you.

9:50am begin couple’s portraits! We go all over this iconic building. Most of the portraits are done on the fourth floor, and I also take folks through the third floor hallway, second floor balconies, elevator, and marble staircase.

11am wrap up with our final two spots - the City Hall entrance doors and crosswalk.
