To get lost…

I love getting lost in the smallest details.

But then at some point, of course, I have to step back.

Letting go for a while, and look at it again from a new perspective.

I love the idea that between getting lost and stepping back, you get a stronger sense of direction and the image begins to take shape 🦋

Flowers Forever 🥀

I know I will never quite be able to capture the full power of a flower.

I feel honoured to have flowers as my models. To find endless inspiration in them and translate a fragment of that onto fabric.

It can be a shape, a movement, a certain stage of blooming or fading, or layers of her different stages.

With the right music playing and some quiet around me, flowers bring me into a deeper state of flow and speak to me in metaphors.

That is why… flowers forever 🥰🫶🥀

[ Translucent - Ivory & Ash ]

I love to play with contrasts

the soft next to the strong
the light meeting the dark
the delicate mixed with the raw

I think we need one to experience the other 🤍🖤

Deze bloemen ontmoette ik tijdens een onverwachte stop.
Een korte omweg werd een toevallige ontmoeting.
Het zijn dit soort kleine ‘plot twists’ die mijn dag maken :) 🦋🌼
