My first time growing trombocino, mine arent as big as some ive seen, its not all about the size 🤣🤣 I grew them thats what counts when we're eating them.
The two on the left are curing more, they look a peachier colour than the two on the right. Ive had them sat in the sunlight so I can store them so we dont have to eat them straight away. Theres still more growing, ive removed some leaves on the plant to allow more light, so they grow nice and big.
Ive had a few firsts this year of trying new things, its exciting tk see how they turn out.

Ive been making my own little cards with some of my pressed flowers from the garden 🌸🌼
I usually buy my cards but I thought why not try crafting some myself, will you be giving it a go with your dried flowers? Let me know if you do

Just incase you missed this last year, I'm showing you again how I make my natural fire lighter parcels. They make perfect gifts, I took a basket for my twin sister she loved them ❤️
Theyre made up of pine cones, collected on our walks, oranges dried in the oven, and herbs from my garden. I used woody herbs, rosemary and sage. I wrap them in baking parchment and tie them with twine, no cellotape, its not good for the fire 🔥
They make the room smell lovely, just light the paper like you would a firelighter and they look lovely in a basket by the hearth

We had a lovely surprise visit today from Dave, he runs the allotment where we had a plot for a while. He bought me this super cabbage, with a promise of coming again with a pumkin soon that Ed will have to carry 🎃 isnt that kind 🥰 it was so good to have a natter, allotment folk do love to share too, and pass on growing tips 🥰

The foxglove self seeders are eager, I've got one in bloom already. These are the excelsior mix variety, theyre so pretty 🩷
Have you got foxgloves flowering yet? I'm gonna leave mine to just do their own thing

Just a few Sunday stills today from the garden and the kitchen, i've been using up apples from our tree so they dont get wasted.
The gardens looking great, it looks like its had a growth spurt while we've been in Cornwall for a week. The seeds I sowed all germinated, it was great to see them all up when I got home 🌱 ive erigeron and nigella seedlings in the gravel too, they can stay there till I find a lovely space for them 🌸
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, im off to have a cuppa and a bit of cake 🤭

We're in our favourite place again, @thepark_cornwall Mawgan Porth
We've been coming for years, its a five minute walk to the dog friendly beach. As you can see Dora's in her elemant chasing the ball, Alfies quite happy with a gentle potter and a paddle in the sea 🥰😂
