On the rare occasion I’m in public, I’m out of body.
Clarity present, but my mind is entirely consumed by my creative process of bringing my visions into reality.

I only feel bad that it sometimes translates as being dismissive. I adore all of the friends, new & not, that have been with me or joined me on this journey.

One of my love languages as of late is receiving love at a distance from someone who, unconditionally, stands beside me…

..patiently and consciously aware that to know me is to witness me more so than experience me.

My main priorities are managing my mental health, educating myself on the fast-changing collapse of western society, and having my art survive through it all.

Detached, not disconnected.🫂

What a burden it can feel like to see things in absolute clarity. In a world where so many people cling to false faces and curated narrative..

..to see is to sever.

Severing yourself from acceptance under false pretense. Severing yourself from mainstream communities. (Even in spaces that claim to be rebellious.)

Most of my life I have accommodated those that did not wish to be seen. Even in childhood, I always felt like I saw too much. I understood too many things a child was not supposed to. (According to adults around me.)

I learned to avoid eye contact with most people unless we spoke. Even then, hyper vigilance meant reading their face, the way they blink, their change of breath.. or absence of it altogether. So much would tell me they are in hiding..and I would accommodate by behaving as if I did not see.

I would not confront the parts of them that shied away from the surface.. even if I saw it clearly. I never announced how much I saw of anything or anyone. I made a home in myself for being underestimated by people.. and it’s stayed that way for a long time.

This is bound to read as arrogance to those who’ve something to hide.. and humble admission to those who’ve hidden the same about themselves for similar reasons. Hello friends🖤 I see you & I know you see me.

Some days I wish I could leave my eyes on my dresser. I often feel punished for seeing..which feels a lot like being punished for existing. It gets me down sometimes when I have conflict with people because of them.

I don’t like lying & I don’t like liars. But, I understand why people lie. Sometimes I wish I could abandon my compassion at times too.

I want to see you. I want you to see me.

I’m grateful for my small circle of friends who see me & allow me to see them. I feel I can breathe easily in their presence & it means the world 🥺

I am a seer. I am an oracle. I am a divination artist. Pretend at a distance or not at all.

The evolution of my RBF. Just know if you were ever greeted with a smile, I really gave it my all🙃🖤

I smile and laugh often, but it’s never my default. A lot of people reveal to me later on after befriending me that they worried I was stuck up or unkind because of the way I carry myself/my facial expression. I laugh to myself about this because it never made sense to me why smiling all the time equated to someone being kind/trustworthy.

I’m also in power saving mode 99% of the time because I’m hypersensitive/hypervigilant. (I take in too much information without constant effort on my part to buffer/process it sometimes.)

As an empath I prioritize my spirituality which is a lot of protecting myself from abrasive energy. That can mean so many things. For example, the atrocities happening around the world are severely abrasive.. and that information is a swipe away as I try to be informed about injustices around the world & how I can be helpful.(You shouldn’t have your head in the sand right now anyways, even if something isn’t happening at your door.. yet.)

I’m conflicted often by people wanting to connect & I truly get overwhelmed. I have probably missed some DMs, or I only had energy to respond a few times as I really try to connect with everyone reaching out. I appreciate the kindness, the compliments, the offers to collaborate.
