The Bloustein School's Health Administration program was thrilled to once again co-host the 2026 @ache.nj and Rutgers #HealthAdministration Fall Leadership Symposium on Thursday, October 15 on the Rutgers campus.

The event brought together healthcare executives, industry leaders, faculty, and students for engaging discussions on the state of healthcare, disruptive innovation in healthcare delivery, and the evolving needs of healthcare consumers.

We also had a spectacular turnout from students across all three of our programs, the BS in Health Administration, Master of Health Administration (MHA), and Doctor of Health Administration (DHA).

Bloustein Executive Director of Health Administration Programs, Soumitra Bhuyan noted, "One of our strategic priorities is to strengthen the visibility of Rutgers Health Administration Programs while creating meaningful opportunities for students to connect classroom learning with real-world healthcare leadership. Events like the ACHE-NJ symposium are an important part of that effort, helping us build stronger relationships with healthcare organizations and expanding professional development and networking opportunities for our students."

A special thank you to the American College of Healthcare Executives of New Jersey (ACHE-NJ) for its continued partnership with Rutgers Health Administration Programs and for helping us create meaningful opportunities for our students and future healthcare leaders.

We'd also like to thank Bloustein School Senior Health Administration Fellow Russ Molloy for his leadership and dedication in making the symposium a success, and to Bloustein School Dean Stuart Shapiro for delivering the opening remarks. Thank you, as well, to all the speakers, panelists, organizers, and students who contributed to the success of the symposium.

@rutgersu researchers, with @hace_nj and @groundworkelizabeth, launched the BREATHE Dashboard, a free tool that gives Elizabeth residents local air quality and heat data. 🌎

Rutgers researchers led the three-year, EPA-funded study behind it. They found that indoor air quality varies widely between homes, and that air cleaners, including DIY models, can cut indoor pollution. Rutgers and Groundwork Elizabeth will continue to analyze the data and maintain the portal.

Bloustein Professor Clint Andrews says understanding indoor environments matters as much as monitoring the outdoors. He points to simple steps for residents and policy actions for the city.

#BREATHEDashboard #AirQuality #Elizabeth The image shows a map of the Elizabeth area with air quality index (AQI) numbers displayed in green circles at various locations, indicating good air quality. A color-coded legend at the bottom right categorizes air quality from "Good" to "Hazardous." Nearby references include Kean University and Elizabethport. by @blousteinschool
