I made this meal for “New Year’s Day”! Not your traditional New Year’s meal that yall rant & rave about. 🤣 But naw forreal, I was feeling jazzy and felt like that I deserved a meal that felt luxurious to ME! I wanted to start the new year off feeling GRAND, so I did it T-style 🤪 It’s perfectly fine to set your own intentions and traditions for the new year. Cheers to the start of 2025 🥂✨

Ya boy has made it to the magazine. God, THANK YOU! Thank you to my friends, family, and supporters who continue to push and motivate me along this journey. March 16, 2020, I was published in my FIRST magazine issue. This is my first publication within my modeling career and it means so much to me. *Long Post Alert 🥴*

July 28th, 2018 I had just moved to Los Angeles, CA from Clarksville, TN. A little within three months of moving here, I completed my first LA Fashion Week. About a week and a half later, I was in two back to back accidents, leaving the car totaled, but me untouched!! Literally the following week I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. The whole left side of my face was pretty much unresponsive or functioning differently, from my eyebrows down to my lips. I really thought my modeling career was over! Some never recovery from Bell’s Palsy and some people have to undergo surgery that still doesn’t bring back their original look.

No, I’m not saying that you have to have the best physical appearance to pursue modeling, but with everything I had been through that bruised my ego some more. But, I couldn’t go out like that. I had to empower myself more than ever before, because I was very self-conscious about my BP and did not want to be out really unless I knew you. I kept pushing through, found ways to help with my healing process, and even kept going to model casting calls and networking at different events, which is eventually how I landed this gig.

During March of 2019, I went to this model casting all by myself. I broke the ice with this girl and we started chatting. While we’re in line, she gets pulled inside by fashion director, Greencandy, who she’s worked with before. The fashion director then points at me to come up to and I’m like *looks around and point at myself* “who, me?” She’s nodding her head like “yea, now c’mon” From that point on I stayed connected with the Greencandy that whole year and I’m glad I did.

Last month, I booked this photoshoot last minute with Greencandy for CIE Fashion Magazine, not expecting anything. I was just exited to do another photoshoot. 😂. I wasn’t feeling my best that day, but work had to be done! 💪🏾 taken in Wilshire, Los Angeles by @blqsymba

Started my @hotworx journey 1 month ago. My homegirl and I was going to different locations doing free trials to see which location we wanted to join at. We even went to a wellness event a won some more free workout sessions at the Downtown location.

On July 16th, I finally joined the @hotworxcordova location and she joined the next day. It’s always great to have an accountability partner, because even when you don’t workout together, you can still check in on your partner to make sure they’re still hitting their goals. 💪🏾

I’m glad I embarked on this journey because I feel so accomplished and find so much joy in Hotworx. I’ve been real consistent within these past 2 weeks. We’ve both even made it on the leadership board for the amount of calories we’ve burned since joining. 😌

I know when you hear Hotworx, you just think of Yoga & Pilates, but it’s so much more to it! So far my favorite hot sauna sessions are Hot Blast/Cycle & Hot Core. After my sauna sessions, I still like to weight train, which is a plus because I’m burning even more calories working out during my after burn. 🔥

Hotworx keeps me accountable when it comes to my water intake🚰 and how I eat, which has helped me see the results that I want.

Best part ever, I CAN WORKOUT FOR 15 MIN TO 30 MIN and still feel accomplished with doing a short workout. This also helps with consistency, because when you don’t really have time to workout for nothing but 15 - 30 minutes you know you can go to Hotworx and get a quick workout in to still hit your goals!
