Hot glue and Rit dye Sling test number 1!

I’m trying to see how far this method can go and if we can end up doing a whole kit with hot glue and Rit dye camouflage!

I went with a two-tone to see if the hot glue was even enough to work on a whole nylon strap so let me know what you guys think!

Dish Sponge 🧽 = Camo?
On today’s episode of “Will it camo?”: using a dish sponge and an exacto knife. I’m trying to find an easy way to make something similar to Flecktarn and while staring at the pattern pretty hard I figured instead of something time consuming like qtips and a lot of bundles for wide coverage, why not try cutting some reusable shapes out of a dish sponge to stamp it on for faster/easier wide coverage?

The flat sponge made it easy to trace shapes out - kind of like how I did with the homemade double sided tape stencils

I should’ve let the sponge absorb more paint on the first dark green I did, felt like it came out a little weaker than I could’ve gotten but hey, these are usually first attempts so I can try something out with y’all, so tell me what you’d like to see next!

🥜 & 🍇 Mags - made yall some lunch

No it’s not “peanut butter: will it camo?” But after yall kept sending me purple mags and askin for pb&j dye jobs I decided to make somethin for lunch, special for yall.

I would’ve preferred magpul Pmags for this as I was trying to only have to use one dye bath for this since I know some of yall want something a little easier in that regard - but the lancer mags work great still. Pmags would’ve been nice for the flat faces and I think their color of FDE would make the whole thing a lil more cohesive. Might try again and actually dye a light brown or something instead of leaving it bare

Credit to @blu.manchu his techniques inspired me to give it a try. I used his double-sided painter’s tape on parchment paper method, and it definitely made masking a lot easier.

First release of mags are available at @spartanarmslv in North Las Vegas! I know a lot of you have been wanting some of these for yourself and if you’re a local to Las Vegas you can get your hands on the first batch!

There will be a few options to choose from already but here’s a few you can find!

Baby oil… will it camo?

Reluctantly on todays’s episode of “Will it camo?”: baby oil. I wanted to get a little weird with this one so I used a color shift paint by rustoleum - this method has you wiping the oil off which left this one looking like a weathered metal mag despite being polymer and has a cool color shift effect that somewhat blended in the rocks. This one was just for fun since yall wanted to see

Hot glue & Spray paint = Camouflage?

We’re back with another episode of “Will it camo?” And today we’re looking at one of the most asked questions on this page: “Will the hot glue trick work with Spray Paint?”

How to make a quick and easy camouflage stencil at home using parchment paper and painters tape!

I got a lot of messages recently where people have been wanting to make patterns similar to the MultiCam like shapes I have on my PCC but the video I had was only showing how to make them half as fast. So here’s a quick tutorial to show you how to make a camo stencil at home quick by taping both sides of a piece of parchment paper and using a razor blade or exacto knife to cut the shapes out twice as fast!
