Grateful to Port Dalhousie for letting us always keep it silly✌️

Our last service at 15 Lock Street is April 15th. Come say goodbye to the old Wellington Hotel!

It’s the end of this chapter, but not of our story. We’ll be back with a new location — stay tuned! Tag us in your fave Lock Street Brew Co memories. by @blue.pomelo

On occasion I have really funny ideas for photoshoots 😇 The Mother’s Day shoot to promote @lockstreetbrewco back in 2021 with my mom! Some of my favourite photos of us ever. I guess I fell over or something at the end. She’s such a good sport :) by @blue.pomelo

Newww book club posted! Every month we meet at @lockstreetbrewco to discuss fantasy fiction by Ontario authors over drinks! Head to the bio link to get your ticket.

Please note that we’re meeting a week early in October because of Thanksgiving, so give yourself enough time to really sink into Where The Dark Stands Still, a rich gothic fantasy based on Polish folktales by @abporanek In November we’re back with the latest from @guygavrielkay Written On The Dark and then for December we’re reading Blood Like Magic by @lisellesambury 📚

Did you love it? Did you hate it? Did you hate loving it or love hating it? Do you just want to see what kind of wild feature cocktails @emscappa comes up with and vote on which character should be played by Danny DeVito in the live-action adaptation? We want to know your thoughts! Ticket link in bio 🥂 by @blue.pomelo

[Yakety Sax - 18th Century Hornpipe Mix plays in the distance]

Do I even like Outlander or do I have some kind of Stockholm Syndrome? who’s to say :-)

We give Carlisle Cullen a lot of grief for adopting random teenagers and making them marry each other, but you know who else is doing that like all the time? [stares in james fraser]

New book club posted! Link in bio!

@emscappa @lockstreetbrewco and I have three really exciting books lined up for the Brewery Book Club this spring! Every month, we read a fantasy book by an Ontario author, but if wizards in dark towers and portal fantasy isekai are starting to blend together in your mind, consider one of our upcoming reads! For May, we’ve got @spitfirewriter Dark of the West, a tale of two lovers who find themselves on opposite sides of a violent political conflict. In June, we’re exploring secret societies within a magic school in Curious Tides, and in July, we’ve reading the award-winning time travel novella This Is How You Lose The Time War!

Register for each discussion group separately, so you don’t have to commit to books that don’t interest you. Each book is available at @thistlebookshopandcafe or send me a DM and I may be able to lend you mine! 19+ only but all are welcome! by @blue.pomelo
