This breed needs training, mental stimulation, lots of companionship, understanding and breed fulfillment. I mean all dog breeds deserve this, but with their intelligence and drive they need a lot of attention to make them a good pet and calm dog.

6 months of tricks with miss mini! Her impulse control is getting so much better. She has a few more that aren’t in this video like wait, quiet, on and off.

Whats your favourite trick that your puppy does? Mine is down for cinnamon. It’s always so fast and it makes me giggle.

We’re a little late as our house had a cold run it last week! Happy 6 months (on the 11th) little bean. We are so lucky to have you and your spunky little personality in our lives 🥹✨

1. The first few nights and days are the hardest to build a routine. You’ll need to be patient and persistent. Crate for the majority of naps, and overnight. Puppies need lots of sleep, and they get the best sleep when it’s uninterrupted.

2. Build positive associations with their crate. Leave little treats in there to find, keep a T-shirt of yours, or a cuddle buddy like a heart beat bear. Also safe toys to be left alone with like a @mybenebone

3. Keep it in the area that is their safe zone to free play like a bedroom, gated area or playpen. Keep the crate open and comfy and heavily praise when they choose to go in themselves.

4. Practice a keyword during their training. For us, we use “go bedtime” to signal getting in her crate & always treat her when she goes in herself. Even 5 repetitions in & out will help the word association and it’s always better if they go in on their own and you don’t force them in.

5. Wait until they’re calm to let them out. Also only take them out if they whine to go potty - make it super boring and put them back in right away. Always do big (calm) praises when you go to get them out and they are relaxed and sleepy.

Little did I know when we brought cinnamon home just how special she really is. All dogs are special, but some you just connect with on a deeper level. Cinnamon has the silliest personality. She’s so spicy, but so soft and gentle at the same time. She’s loves to play, yet somehow also super calm and cuddly. To know her is to love her and I just feel so lucky that she is mine.

Blue and mini are so special and they are going to live forever because I said so 🥹

2.5 months VS 5 Months 🥺

Her hair colour has changed, her ears are getting fluffy, she’s losing teeth and she’s still as goofy as ever. We love our mini girl 😭🥰 remind me to do this again when she’s 1 🥺 taken in Glenridding Ravine, Edmonton by @blueandmini
