We spend so much time with our clients running through such minor details of the design for the dinner. Layers upon layers of design details and considerations for the aesthetic but also the experience we want them and their guests to have.

I won’t lie, trying to choose the cover photo for this post has had me coming back to this too many times!

After the beautiful ceremony at the ruins in the sunshine, we turned the space around to create a pergola of dreams for A&R.

Featuring gorgeous soft draping amid the rambling roses on the pergola, a long trestle with soft pink linens and detailed tableware and stationery.

And not forgetting the meadow of soft pastel florals mixed with candles running the full length of the table.

Such a fabulous end result and not possible without all the team on board to create in such a small time frame.

The result… perfection 🫶🏻🌸

What image would you have chosen for the cover? I was truly torn with image 1,2&3! My sister thought number 4.

And then the curtains opened…

A completely bespoke bar. A completely bespoke dance floor. Espresso martinis waiting. And a room ready to change the energy entirely.

We talk a lot about how a wedding looks, but we design just as much around how each part of the celebration should feel.

The anticipation before the reveal.
The change of pace.
The lighting. The music. The first drink in your hand.
That moment everyone realises the night has properly begun.

This was that moment. 🪩

@solandthegang knew how to get everyone on their feet with this incredible mid dinner set during A&Os wedding breakfast.

The vibes, atmosphere and energy were utterly electric. Every single person was on their feet. 🎉

The problems you’ll never know your wedding planner solved.

A huge part of wedding planning happens quietly, behind the scenes.

The conversations, the adjustments, the quick decisions and the constant problem solving that mean, by the time our couples and their guests arrive, everything simply feels as though it was always meant to be that way.

Because good planning isn’t about nothing ever going wrong.

It’s about knowing what to do when it does — often before anyone else even notices.

That’s the bit you don’t see in the finished photographs.

Early autumn, without a single fallen leaf in sight.

We translated the richness of the season through colour, texture and candlelight: deep merlot draping, sculptural florals in berry and antique rose, softly gathered champagne and nude linens, cut crystal and stationery finished with stunning texture.

Abundant, romantic and richly layered—but still refined enough to let every detail breathe.

Because seasonal design doesn’t need to be literal. It should capture how that moment of the year feels.

What looks seamless is rarely effortless.

The transformation is the part everyone sees. These are the conversations that make it possible.

During an installation, months of planning are translated into hundreds of small, live decisions.

A drape is adjusted.
A finish is reconsidered.
The proportions are questioned.
And sometimes one more tweak is requested—because nearly right isn’t always right.

Those conversations don’t need to be difficult. The best work happens when everyone can communicate clearly, listen to one another’s expertise and remain committed to the shared vision.

It isn’t about demanding perfection for the sake of it. It’s about protecting the design, the client’s investment and the experience we have collectively promised to deliver.

The finished wedding may appear effortless.

This is the invisible work behind it.

This is what a full-scale wedding transformation looks like.

An empty lawn into a glass Orangery build. A tightly timed build. Layer upon layer of draping, lighting, floristry, furniture and table details—all working together to completely change the feeling of the space.

The aim was never simply to make it look beautiful. We wanted this vast glass structure to feel rich, romantic and completely immersive.

Deep merlot, sculptural florals, soft folds of fabric and warm pools of light created the intimacy. Then the guests arrived and brought the whole room to life.

Months of planning. Hundreds of decisions. One extraordinary evening.

And this is only the beginning of what we have to share from this one…
