Start up advice #1. Be authentic.
1. Know your values and come back them when you make decisions.
2. Tell the truth to your staff and have an open door policy where they can do the same.
3. Don’t lie. Not even to yourself. If something doesn’t work for you be honest, and vice versa. Run a clean business, and good vibes will follow.
Check back here next Monday for more start up advice. #startup #founderlife #founderadvice by @bluecreche

@harvard was the first school where I felt at home. It was a place for outsiders. That’s what I am building in ventura. A place for children who love to be outside feel loved, secure and seen. Come learn more this Thursday November 5, 5-6pm.

You know what’s really scary? 😱 not having daycare!
Here’s us headed to a party in 2022 as morticia and gomez.

In 2023 I was a few months pregnant and stayed home to eat mini candy bars.

2024 viva was 6 months old and we were struggling to juggle work and caring for her. She was max from where the wild things are.

2025 we almost opened our school and were waiting on our license. She was alice in wonderland.

I always love how the wilderness brings children back to themselves. It’s like there is a small whisper saying “here’s who you are to be wild child”.

I had a beautiful day helping our toddler class on their nature field trip. #forestschool #naturebasedlearning by @bluecreche

So many big wins this month. Our founder on a wall @harvardinnovationlabs is one! What does that mean for @bluecreche it means more of them coming your way over the next several years. We are refining our business model, and getting ready to scale!!!!! @harvard by @bluecreche

Learning looks like this— moving, creating, designing, experimenting, trying, failing, teaching, redoing, collaborating in wild places that are always changing.

At a microschool our highly trained teachers help your children learn through play, and connection. No more 25-30 kids per class. Our 1:6 ratio allows every child to receive one on one feedback and instruction. #microschool #microschools #forestplay by @bluecreche
