Hola familia & those I’ve yet to meet. My name is Pardees and I’m a multi-disciplinary, Iranian-American artist + educator from Buffalo, NY. I love to study how spaces and intentional design can impact our state of being and encourage deeper connection. I create because I’m not sure how else to navigate this wild and wonky life on planet earth. I express myself through many mediums, because it all feels expansive and sacred to me. I want to thank @wonderbrink & @osbciderworks for having me and featuring my art this month. I call this collection “Cielos” meaning “Skies” or “Heavens” in Spanish, because marveling at the clouds, drifting & shapeshifting across the sky, has always been a favorite pastime of mine. Something that helps me tune out the noise, and pull me deeper into the wonder & wisdom that is HERE NOW, always. I hope my work makes you feel something real and inspires you to pause. Lil painting break to make more pretty shapes using a completely different medium. Yes I do it all and yes I do it well.
