Concert review up! Operation: Throwback. @queensrycheofficial pulled off the heist of a century last Friday night—proving, your Honor, that beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the 80s rock metal giant’s recent work could stand out, or at the very least alongside—a setlist of even their more familiar radio hits.” Such a blast to see these guys and write about it the morning after! Full review in Linkin bio.

Honouring Big Wreck’s new EP release “7.3” today with a flashback to their summer 2021 livestream! “The breezy and soaring “Albatross” served as a harmonic escapade across a melody that was at once both mournful and optimistic—likely by coincidence, but quite likely—all by design.” A fun review to write! Concert review up! Flashback! Kip Winger, July 2021. New Winger summer dates (with Tom Keifer of Cinderella) just announced this week! Link to artist page in photo.

Review-2021: link in bio. One of the best ever! And I was a casual fan. Incredible performance. One of the first post-pandemic shows, this is -THE- show that has inspired me to go see a bunch of throwback artists since then. The portfolio of songs these artists can now give are just incredible, and the resolve of these musicians is astounding. taken in Parker Colorado by @bluejays914

“Shades of Cool” @LanaDelRey played Denver last night. I’ve been drawn to her music for years. Complex. Sweeping. Breath taking. Legitimate. Her arrangements defy gravity, her words transcend space and stop time. Frozen in those moments are little miracles that belong to her and her fans alone. No one else. Lana moments, they are called. Since coming across videos of Lana moments years ago, it became a dream of mine to see her live, and perhaps...watch Lana moments happening to others. Last night, I had that chance. To see that daft blend of artistry and wicked, wicked talent come together in swirls of glitter and roses amidst hues of pink, orange and blue lights. Lana stopped multiple times for selfies, hugs and hand-holding with those in the front row. Appreciation. Adoration. Love. Belonging. Lana moments, happening right in front of me. There’s enough meanness happening in the world that perhaps a Lana moment could make that one difference to that one life. Little did I know, I was about to have my own Lana moment. During Doin’ Time, I handed her a note. It only said “Lana, Thanks for being there for us! :-) -Denver, CO (11/04/19).” But that wasn’t my Lana moment. What happened next was.
Two songs later, and after countless selfies with fans, roses, autographs and hugs, she descended the makeshift stage staircase in front of my seat. She leaned over, and whispered “Thank you for the note. That meant so much.”
This time, I was the one frozen in time, suspended somewhere between hope and heaven, suddenly and so desperately wanting to be the best version of myself I could be to this world.
I’ve been to countless other shows and have never seen an artist have that level of interaction with fans during what is supposed to be their moment. Their time. Their stage. Instead, Lana made it about others and how they felt about themselves. That, is a Lana Moment. And, is the definition of an icon.
And Lana, you have the best fans. You’re gift has created a fandom of kindness, acceptance and expression that will help keep our world young, dope and proud.
Thank you, endlessly. #lanadelrey taken in Bellco Theatre by @bluejays914
