Welcome, Blueprint Busters!

So, you might be curious: who is BlueprintBailey?

I’m a neurodivergent adult by chance, multifaceted game developer by trade. Initially, my social accounts started out with the name Herogon. However, after a long while of doing things and schoolwork came about, I’ve decided to change my social media account names into something befitting for my days as both a Full Sail student and eventual game developer. Wherever my path takes me, I’m hoping to gain a better balance towards what I’m doing and will do.
With that said, I also have my portfolio website for all interested viewers. It’s still a work-in-progress, but isn’t life like that sometimes? I’m still working towards a bachelor’s degree at FSU, with an expected graduation date at either the end of April or the beginning of May.
I’m looking forward to joining the entertainment and gaming industries, whether it’s working for another independent developer or recruiting others for my own effort. Either way, I should keep in mind that video games are an art to be respected and regarded. It takes years upon years of time to improve the craft, as I’ve been trying to do currently.
I’d like to thank a majority of you for sticking around, as times really have felt rough for me. I won’t go into further detail or be a total downer, though. Giving people some nuanced hope is more my speed.

So… it’s been about two years since I joined Full Sail, and I’ve just graduated as of May 7th, 2026. For further context, I made my Instagram account in 2021 and renamed it to BlueprintBailey at the end of November 2025. My, how time flies when you’re busy.

If I had to say something about the Full Sail University experience, it’s one heck of a chaotic ride. It’s had ups and downs, but mostly some good upward moments. If I had to choose again, I’d love to try much of Full Sail’s classes again just to learn about the game development industry. It’s been amazing how far I’ve come, from the little kid who grew up playing the Nicktoons games and Sonic the Hedgehog… to the adult who jumped into watching Shawnthebro tutorials and learned Unreal Engine from that… and finally, me graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Technology with Concentration in Game Design.

I’ve got a lot to speak on, but there’s only so much time here. Rest assured, I’ll see about making a video or two covering my experiences. For now, enjoy some of the random @universalorlando pictures from a February 2026 trip I’ve placed, as I’ve not really gotten around to any recent photos to showcase my Full Sail journey.

To those who have been waiting to see where I’m headed, or those who have kept watch… thanks. I’ve not forgotten about the few audiences on my socials, as I’ve kept liking a few things here and there in my off time. I can’t wait to showcase what I’ve done in my time at Full Sail and what’s next. Hello, everyone! Once again, it has been far too long. My last big public post meant for everyone on all social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.) was December 31st, 2024. Wow… been so long since a proper look at what I’ve been up to across all platforms.
So, you might be wondering: what have I been up to, and where have I been? Let me recap my events of 2025:
-Went on a Royal Caribbean cruise, Independence of the Seas, from February 21 to 24. Some good times, some rough bits. I’ll admit it, cruises have not been on my cards, and for my own assumed good reason: they’re costly, both in pricing and time.
-Saw The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie in theaters around the end of March. Amazing animated film from start to finish.
-Started a weekend job on my birthday at a local produce market with its own bakery. It did shut down around July, but I’ve been kept around for some backstage work in a different space. Pays decently, as I’m all too aware of the world going nuts.
-Graduated from Full Sail at the end of March. Only saw the online ceremony, and my degree paper came in months later. Luckily, I found out I was Valedictorian in April, so it’s all good.
-A few Universal Orlando trips here and there with family thanks to annual passes. I’ll admit, I again did not have this in my cards at this point, even if it is just miles away from current digs.
-I started my Bachelor’s Degree in Interactive Technology with Game Design Concentration in April. Still pushing through like the person I’ve been for some time.

I really could’ve made posts about my vacations and such, but my schoolwork has become a top priority, with an expected graduation date at the end of April or the beginning of May 2026. Maybe it was good that I’m not posting as much. Knowing when to work on your own stuff in life is good, even if you do still check out what everyone else is doing. With that said, I am also looking to bring a new name to my accounts. One that may be more fitting to what I’m doing. I’ll see you at the next post for a reintroduction and rename…

Hello, fellows! Herogon here, with a final post for 2024. I’ve put out my final Funlog covering @shawnthebro’s fighting game framework tutorials. It’s been a good ride for openly showcasing how far I’ve come, but now I must take to new horizons. @fullsail classes are coming up soon on January 6th. This means I’ll be busy in sharpening my skills to become a professional in game development. However, I hope you can stick around to see where I go from here.

Hello, fellows! Herogon here. I think it’s time I inform that I have a portfolio website AND a new project page to go with it. Over December 2024, I was in @fullsail Project and Portfolio II class. It was an interesting time learning the ins and outs of what tile-based games could be. I implemented my own mechanic alongside another student’s in a little project known as Tournamental, or Tile Project. You can learn much more about things on my site and get a look at the postmortem. It’s amazing that I’ve done a postmortem, seeing as I wish to learn more to become less of the amateur hour from way back when.

Hello, fellows! Herogon here. I know, it’s quite an odd sight to see me after so long. I know it’s late for the Christmas rush of posts, but better late than never. Across my parents and grandparents I’ve gotten some goods here, including something handmade by one of my siblings who likes knitting. My favorite of the bunch was the SSD, which is something very useful for those big games I could have in the future. On another note, I’m very close to done on my final Funlog for @shawnthebro’s fighting game framework. Once the new year rolls in, I’ll be back doing @fullsail classes. I’m close to graduating, so this is quite the good time for an update.

To anyone that’s stuck around for this long, I want to thank you. I know I don’t post as much as I did back in the day, but I think it’s nice to just stay to keep watch while also carving your own career path. It’s been a tough road for a lot of us this year. Here’s hoping that everyone can enjoy their new year and new horizons.

Hello, fellows! Herogon here. There were “technical” difficulties every time I went to record my Funlog, no thanks to that madcap counterpart of mine known as Spookagon. Alas, he did suffer some voice cracking when he tried to turn things into “The Fearlog Files”, so that might be a bright side.
I had plenty to go through for my October. From Level Design I assignments @fullsail to watching 31 episodes of @thesimpsons Treehouse of Horror, it’s all been good fun. Ironically, this video was released at 10:31 AM on 10/31/2024, as I intended and set the publishing date for.

Credit again goes to @shawnthebro, as he’s been amazing with his tutorials. Even if I do stop Funlog video coverage on his projects regularly, I’m still going to keep watching his videos, albeit without the pressure of making a video every month.

Hello, fellows! Herogon here. After finally locking my spooky counterpart Spookagon up (he took over my Funlog Files video this month, which I’ll post about soon), I’ve got some photos to show. Some of these came from days earlier when I got my Batman costume. The last two are from tonight, and it’s a decent costume I got for a decent price. I’m not sure what next year might bring, but Halloween is fun. I haven’t gotten candy because I’m typically on handout duties, but candy can be an occasional thing at any time.

Hello, fellows! It’s… been a while, hasn’t it? I think you deserve some explanations:
-I have been taking classes @fullsail since February. It’s taken up a lot of my time with things, as I’ve now grown to enjoy using YouTube as my main Funlog outlet.
-I’ve been doing on-the-job training. It doesn’t end until June, but the job is a 10-2 deal.
-I’ve FINALLY gotten a new laptop, seen here. Thanks, @fullsail! Anyways, the GE Raider is pretty ok so far, though I will need a mouse. Don’t worry, I’ve already bought one that’s coming tomorrow. I’ve also taken the liberty of clearing my desk of the old iMac 2017 model I’ve used before. Now that iMac is back in the loft area of my mom’s, ready for new fingers to take its keys.

So, yeah. It’s been a long few months with online college classes. I’ve got so much I’ve done in Full Sail I’d love to show you, but as it stands, I’ll wait until after college or whenever @fullsail gives a go-ahead before showing off.
In case you’re wondering about the Funlogs, they are now a monthly series available on YouTube. A new one releases at the tails of each month, either beginning or end. Do expect some changes, though, as I continue to evolve and learn a new workspace in Windows.

This week, see fighting game AI be allowed to perform an action on continuous loop! Improve the practice mode with regenerating healthbars! And see if one can handle the pace of college and releasing a funlog! With Shawnthebro’s amazing tutorials to guide him, Herogon shall make his own mark in using Unreal Engine!
