Good morning! We'll be in Gypsy Hill Park from 1:00PM to 4:00PM giving away free seedlings! Phillip Wagner, a local horticulturist, has also volunteered to do a free workshop on companion planting for us. He has 30 pamphlets on that, but we'll be there until 4:00PM or we run out of seedlings. If it gets too rainy, we're loving to Staunton Democratic Headquarters! This past Tuesday, several of our members attended the Waynesboro School Board meeting to speak in defense of trans youth after hearing that there was a local group riling people up to speak out against trans kids using the bathrooms they're most comfortable with. With three pages of people (front and back) signed up to speak, we're pleased to report that most people spoke in favor of trans kids. We'll meet and fight prejudice any time anywhere. Credit to Luna's Mutual Aid for the first two videos.
