This is a promise to myself that I will keep making music‼️❤️‼️ Music is my passion, and it’s my dream to do this full-time one day. The goal right now is to keep learning, keep growing, and keep expanding my sound. I want to become a better songwriter, singer, musician, and producer while creating music that feels true to me. My plan is to save money from this job and move back to ATL next year. Then in 2027, I want to fully invest in myself. I plan on getting my MBA in Music Business (or a related field) while also earning a production certification so I can learn more about making beats, producing, mixing, and mastering. The goal is to pay for it through scholarships and money I’ve saved. This whole artist journey is a grassroots project. 🍀😖 While I’m in school, I want to join a choir, take guitar and vocal lessons, collaborate with other artists, and just fully immerse myself in music. I want to practice every day, play open mics, bars, and small gigs, and continue building my confidence as a performer. I’ve already been working in the studio for almost a year now, and I even have my own little setup at home. I want to keep improving, learn more about production, maybe pick up piano, and continue working on my projects. One of them is my second EP, A 1-Sided Lover, which tells the story of a past relationship through a roller coaster of emotions. I want to bring that story to life through music videos too. For a long time, I felt like I was searching for my purpose. Now I finally feel like I’ve found it. This post is a commitment to myself to keep creating, keep learning, stay patient, and trust the process. To make music a ritual, a habit, and a part of my everyday life. WE DID IT!! 238 streams and 35 cents made‼️I told my producer if we got a 100 streams that I would have achieved my goal and it actually happened. “The Fuck It EP” coming out on all platforms‼️ ⭐️This is my first time ever making music and it’s been a blast. I had an amazing friend and producer, Dennis helping create this awesome indie-soul EP. Dennis did all the production and played guitar for each track. I sang and song wrote throughout this entire EP. It was such a pleasure to collaborate and create something new and unique for the sound and vibe we wanted to create. We started this project in January of this year and it’s finally finished. I’ve had such an enjoyable time making music and I hope who ever listen sees how much time, work, and passion we have put into this EP project. I’m thankful for all the support and love I have gotten from my friends and peers. This is only the beginning of a beautiful career for myself and Dennis. I hope you all enjoy and find meaning in some of our songs. Thank you Album art completed by @dionionss .I gave them my idea and they brought it to life. Such an amazing digital artist and person to work with. They were super collaborative and did all the work to make this album art look so authentic and amazing.
