A SIRXN Sizzle- “La Bedda”

The soil, the wind, the heat, and the salt become intoxicating as she begins to fall hysterically in love with a version of herself she always wanted to know, harbored by a place left behind…

These photos feel like some kind of poetic justice to me-
Taken on the morning of my birthday, and later that day, the very necklaces I’m wearing here were stolen or lost (I’m still not sure which)- the larger one used to be my grandmothers, she was wearing the necklace when she passed- and I held her as she did. After she departed, my family told me that I was chosen to keep her necklace- in the shape of our island.

So on the day of these photos- my birthday- once I knew the necklaces were gone, I felt grief, almost the same feeling as when she first passed- but this time the feeling Wasn’t a stranger-

Before this day if anyone had asked me the material possession that ment the most to me it was this necklace.

So, The lesson?
You will still be okay even without your most sacred items- it’s all in the present and the memories, and maybe the future

And don’t bring your most valuable sh*t to the bath house ❤️

The ultimate reward?
These photos ended up being a marker of preservation for the necklace-The last day I ever had it,
