Not only do they steal a design, they give no ‘nod’ or reference to the origin culture where this silhouette comes from, nor can they even reference the correct terminology. In no way do I claim the silhouette of the traditional Hanfu robe as my own, but this is a blatant copy from yet again another fast fashion giant - when will they begin to think for themselves and be creative? @missguided

This time last year I brought our Qipao-inspired Maxi dress to life ~ as part of SS26 Zhēn.

Behind the finished silhouette is the work you rarely see: developing the cut, refining the fit and perfecting the details that tell the story it was designed to tell.

As autumn approaches, many often feel the need to replace their entire wardrobe. The truth is, you don’t have to, and you shouldn’t. The art of styling holds immense power and beauty.
We created a Dual Vegan leather maxi/midi skirt ~ entirely functional in that it zips off from a maxi, to midi length. A piece that can be styled with your existing (or new) Blu reign pieces ~ or for that matter, any piece from your wardrobe.

Movement was the starting point.

The way the sleeves fall. The way the bodice wraps. The contrast between fluid fabric and a structured vegan-leather waist.

Inspired by traditional Hanfu silhouettes and reimagined through the language of Blu Reign.
