🕊️ BLUSH 09.18 RECAP 🕊️

What an absurd second party.

For everyone who came out for our @eastrockporchfest kickoff, made new friends, and danced heavy, thank you. Having a crowd open to a louder, warmer, and more intimate dance scene makes these parties possible! (+ we hit capacity, wild!)

We’d also like to give a massive thanks to the three DJs who brought the night together beautifully,
@swirv0
@eggplantmarmesan
@moneyycatt

and @zivkatzphoto for bringing such a creative voice to every photograph taken.

We’re proud to have @blueorchidnh’s owners and staff as active collaborators and supporters; without their space and team, our night wouldn’t be what it’s becoming!

Here’s to more stories, more dancing, and most importantly: more friends and lovers.

Lil Colibrí @eggplantmarmesan is a Hartford-based DJ inspired by global club sounds. Bending genres to create new universes on the dance floor. When she’s on the decks best believe the room is shaking and bodies are grooving.

🕊️ BLUSH 09.18 FEATURED DJS 🕊️

@moneyycatt is a New Haven-based DJ who plays across Connecticut. Deeply passionate about music, art, and the people who bring them to life, they see music as a powerful way to connect with others. Their sets are shaped by the communities they are part of: the people they meet, the spaces they play in, and the energy they feel. Every soundscape is built with that setting in mind, allowing the music to reflect and respond to the moment.

For Moneyycatt, a great set is not simply about what is being played, but about creating a space where people can come together, feel something, and share an experience. There is a sense of fellowship, connection, and love behind the process of bringing those sounds together. DJing is their way of exploring music, celebrating artists, and connecting with others through sound.

FOR FRIENDS, FOR LOVERS, FOR THE LOVE OF THE CLUB.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT BLUSH

BLUSH was born from a desire for a more social clubbing experience in NHV.

BLUSH uses wristbands that indicate what kind of interactions you want from the night. Green means you’re looking for friends, pink means you’re looking for flirts. Wear one or both!

Colored wristbands indicate intent, not consent; always ask first when seeking to connect with someone. Flagging is also welcome & encouraged in the space.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT BLUSH

We want you to step out of your comfort zone and grow beyond your usual groups; talk and dance with people you don’t know!

To keep the focus on dancing, phone cameras will be covered during entry, and we strongly discourage phone use on the dance floor. We’ll have a photographer on staff to document the night.

Predatory, discriminatory, and objectifying behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in removal. If you see or experience anything that makes you uncomfortable in the space, find a team member wearing a glowing bracelet so we can respond accordingly.
