A little ritual made sculptural. Our wooden espresso cups bring warmth and appreciation for the everyday into a single object. Thoughtfully shaped, grounded in natural grain of teak wood and designed to make even the smallest pause feel considered. For the love of slow mornings and good design. #EGWA #Collectibledesign #Slowliving Photographed by @_.gg.visuals set design by @jojotemmeng by @blvcksmurff
Adulting is when your collectibles go from CDs, concert tickets and things your parents probably didn’t need to know about… to handcrafted kitchen boards. But building Olive Deli has made me even more intentional about the things we bring into the space. I didn’t want to just buy a board…I wanted something made for us, with its own character, by someone local. So Jojo and I started making our first Olive Deli kitchen board. And I love how it turned out. What do you think..do you like it? by @blvcksmurff

Collaborating Artist on @studio.amponsah KUBOLOR: In Search of Greener Pastures emerged through an uncommon spirit of collaboration, where artistic practice, curatorial inquiry and wearable art evolved in constant dialogue. Beyond their individual roles, each contributor became part of the exhibition’s making testing ideas, refining forms and shaping the experience from within. Featuring the work of Gideon Kwabena Amponsah @studio.amponsah, wearable art by Herbert Adjei Darko and Welbert Adjei Darko @wear.darkos, furniture by Jojo Temmeng @jojotemmeng, with curatorial direction by Kwamena Boison @kdboison and Nuna Adisenu-Doe @nunadoe. JOJO TEMMENG is an artist working across installation, spatial story telling and sculptural furniture. His practice sits at the intersection of art, culture and design, exploring how the spatial relationships between objects and their environment produce ambience and can communicate meaning, how environments can hold meaning and how objects can communicate through different forms. At the core, his interest is to explore how culture inhabits material, how memory lingers in wood, fabric and the discarded. “Each piece is approached as both a structure and a narrative. Materials are not treated as neutral, they are chosen for their histories, their textures and the lives they have already lived.” - Jojo Temmeng by @blvcksmurff
