Words cannot explain the gratitude and love I have for Children’s Hospital Colorado and their medical team. My Denver Skyy is 6months old now! Thriving to her fullest potential and the happiest little girl! The medical team is so passionate about their patients and put all their energy, love, and knowledge into helping our babies get to live a happy life! Without them Deni wouldn’t be here right now making me the happiest momma to walk this planet. Deni was in the NICU for 113 days and discharged on June 12! She has been home for a little over two months and we couldn’t be more blessed. She has overcome incredibly difficult obstacles earth side and is still thriving! These babies are resilient and the strongest souls. I made the greatest most beautiful relationships with the NICU team and NICU mommas! We call it “Trauma Bonding” and these people will forever be apart of my heart and considered family! It was a beautiful sad moment to walk out of the NICU and say goodbye but we are home and happy as can be! My son is the GREATEST BIG BROTHER a momma can ask for! He protects his litto sister, helps take care of her, and gives her unconditional love. It’s like they’ve known each other before. It’s truly a blessing to see their love for each other. I want to thank EVERYONE, my family and friends for all the PRAYERS, LOVE, SUPPORT, MESSAGES, and GIFTS sent our way for Denver and we truly could have not done it without God or you all. From the bottom of my heart I’m thankful. Writing this message is making me tear. The fear I had going into the unknown was the worst feeling to ever have and now my babies are home together and we are living life. I will never look at life the same again. I’m so blessed I cannot say it enough and God loves us and everyone! Just follow his word and listen to him and he knows what he’s doing. I love you everyone!!!!!!!
