happy anniversary to one of the worst days of my life! after the car accident i was told i had a 10% chance of survival, and it was unlikely id make it through the night. by the grace of God i survived. since then, i have seen the inside of more hospitals in the past 3 years than most see in their lifetime. i have had countless mris, scans, x-rays, procedures, and surgeries. all to upkeep some form of normalcy, with zero end in sight. this affects every day to day activity, aswell as lifelong upkeep and not in a small manner. i could never express the gratitude i have for my family, friends, and specialists that have helped me through this time in words. i could never begin to return the favor to the countless people that played apart in keeping me alive. this is not in anyway to ask for pity, but to share the change this had on my outlook. every single day you’re breathing is a blessing. being able bodied is a blessing. having a support system is a blessing. and none of these things should go unnoticed. tell the people around you that you love them. by @blytheehouse
