The dangers of drawing out of sequence!

My real problem is not being able to hammer out the idea fully in the thumbnail, but I tend to not get these sort of ideas till I'm in the middle of working on the page anyway,go figure! Lol

Really there's nothing a good amount of white paint can't fix!

So much fun!

These little panels are nice because I can worry a little less about the certain lines. (Still keeping my ruler close by. lol) these panels get to be more loose and have so much energy!

Also I love blacking out the helmet/head of the Bot, very moody.

The Final Touches!

Some of the most satisfying parts of drawing a comic panel is adding in those last elements that really tie the whole composition together.

TURTLE POWER!

Some interesting bts behind this piece:

I did the layout on 8.5x11 copy paper then blew it up to ink on an 11x17 blueline. You can see in the pencils that I thought about the black background but I lacked a big enough circle template. So I dropped the idea.
I wasn't thrilled with the initial drawing.
But when I scanned it I was able to add the black and it all came together. Colors aren't bad either!
This piece has a real @chrissamnee Batman and Robin vibe, not mad at that! Lol
