When I started the BMORE Brew Crew in 2024, I imagined it as a small group of craft beer loving folks that would come together at organized social meetups in breweries around town to help support the local brewing community. Little did I know how much it would evolve over 2.5 years to become not only a social group, but a group that truly makes an impact in the World.

I’m proud to announce that through our fundraising events to date, all held at local breweries, restaurants and tap-houses, the BMore Brew Crew has now raised over $135,000 for local and national charity organizations such as Kennedy Krieger, Just in Power Kids, The Maryland Special Olympics, Tunnel to Towers, The Baltimore City Firefighter Burn Foundation, Toys for Tots, The Mike Rowe Works Foundation, The California Wildfire Relief Fund and so many more. But our work is not going to stop here. We will continue to support our local breweries by having some amazing events around town and I want the group to continue to grow so we can have an even bigger impact.

The group is free to join and we don’t take a cent from our local brewers to help promote them. Post about your positive experiences. Post pics of the amazing beers you’ve had. Talk about your favorite breweries. Every post makes a difference and helps raise awareness. Please invite your friends and family to join the group. Share this post to your feed. The more folks that attend our fun events, the better it is for everyone. I promise to keep working my hardest to grow the group and bring good into the communities around us. If you are a brewery that wants a shoutout for something exciting you have brewing, let me know…I’d love to help you spread the word and I won’t ask you for a cent.

I hope a few of you join me in doing this. I did it last year, and it was brutal, not gonna lie. But worth it to remember and honor all the brave men and women that lost their lives 25 years ago.
