Are you interested in volunteering for BmoreSwap? We’re looking for DRIVERS & a DONATION ORGANIZER to help us continue to serve our community & provide broader access to free clothing!

Driver requirements include:
* Having reliable transportation
* Being able to lift 10-15 pounds
* Being available at end of swap
* Guaranteeing punctuality when picking up excess swap items

Donation organizer requirements include:
* Being able to orchestrate liaisons with local organizations for excess clothing
* Being reliable, communicative, & easy to reach

We do this for the love of the game, on our own time, & entirely for free. Both of these opportunities are entirely volunteer based and there is no pay involved.

Are YOU interested in hosting the next BmoreSwap? We are looking for local Baltimore owned businesses in the city area to collaborate with us on our upcoming swaps! All orgs/businesses welcome to reach out in collaboration. (Bonus points if you are a non-profit or second hand shop!)

This event is 100% FREE for both parties. Perks for hosting a swap includes: upwards of 200+ attendees to your local business, an online viewer reach of over 10,000+ people, and the opportunity to be a part of an amazing accessible and sustainable community event!

Requirements for hosting our events include having an ADA accessible space, large enough areas for our large amount of swappers, and folding tables to lay out clothing.

This Halloween, skip the costume store and DIY your costume with your swap finds! Bring your gently used clothing, shoes, costumes, and costume accessories to swap for new-to-you pieces and then get creative with them!

The swap is FREE, or grab a craft ticket for access to our craft supplies + resources and a drink ticket. Let us know how you plan to attend or purchase your ticket at the link in our bio!

Use our craft section to:
🧵 Add some flair to your swap finds
🎃 Upcycle an old costume into something new
✂️ Craft another part of your costume
✨ Put the finishing touches on a costume you’ve already started

Meet the faces behind the Baltimore Clothing Swap! Mayan (left), Jasmine (middle), and Aleeza ( right). We’d like to take a moment to share the story behind the creation of the Baltimore Clothing Swap! In 2022, we attended a one-time clothing swap in Baltimore and instantly fell in love with the concept. As avid thrifters, we appreciated the opportunity to donate our gently used clothing to a non-profit event and leave with new items at no cost. This sparked the idea for us to create our own swap bringing us to where we are now. Since beginning our swaps, we have had the opportunity to learn about other swaps in the area, such as @theclothingswapbalt , which is a Baltimore based clothing swap that has been here since 2013! We are so happy to have had the opportunity to learn about this and other Baltimore organizations that are so integral to supporting the community. If you have any swaps or swap adjacent events, please send them our way!! We are always happy to learn of more ❤️

Nearly two years later, we’re thrilled to have hosted numerous successful swaps, including our collaborations with @anniedemm @villagelearningplace and our upcoming one with @rpbaltimore . Our most recent event attracting over 100 attendees! We never could have imagined that this initiative would grow into such a vibrant and supportive community who are passionate about giving back.
