I can't even begin to tell y'all how much fun I had over the weekend with my ageless big sisters. FYI... The comic book character Popeye was based off of an actual real person! 🤯 Only differences were that "Rocky" wasn't a sailor and his spinach was liquor. This photo was taken in 1979, just one year before the release of the "Popeye" movie starring #RIP Robin Williams. (That flick just so happens to be one of my favorite musicals... which is weird because musicals tend to irk me.) But who knew that an old bar brawler from Chester, Illinois would become such an iconic pop culture cartoon? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Eutaw Street between Saratoga and Lexington Streets... 😌 Funny how I sometimes miss them wild ass days fckin sht up in what I used to call my backyard AKA Lexington Market.
