Tonight was everything I could have hoped for and more! A huge thank you to everyone who fought through that cycling race traffic—(we were stuck in traffic for 2hrs)🤬😡🤬😡 😡

Creating “Follow Your Joy” has been the most vulnerable, exciting, stressful,rewarding(all the things) journey I’ve ever been on. It was a surreal feeling to share it with so many people.
From seeing the unwavering support of my family and friends to meeting so many amazing new faces, I’m still trying to take it all in. For now I just can't stop saying THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 by @bmoretuft

‘Am I Home?’ is officially 🔴SOLD!🔴

I originally planned to drop this piece Saturday, but it got scooped up by a private collector during the VIP pre-release.

I made this piece to spark a real conversation. For a lot of us in the diaspora, returning to Africa is this beautiful, romanticized daydream—which is why I used the Pan-African colors to create that abstract, dream-like background. But the reality is that the motherland is massive, with thousands of different tribes, cultures, and languages. There can even be pushback against us coming back.

I positioned the girl at the doorway to capture our curiosity, but also to ask a tougher question: how realistic is a seamless homecoming, and what does actual cultural reconnection require? by @bmoretuft

2025 was a year of growth, grit, and gratitude. 🧶✨ Looking back at my first solo art exhibition, I’m still blown away by the support and the connections made. From my basement studio to the gallery walls, every stitch was worth it.
