📍 Bergen, Norway 🇳🇴
Aka the city of seven mountains ⛰️ Also known for its weather, Bergen gets rain almost 240 days a year. Luckily for me, the sun came out and I wandered around the colorful houses that lean into the hills, the cobblestone streets that twist quietly, and the harbor where the sea always seems close enough to touch 🌊

Amsterdam said “come for a day, stay forever”… and honestly, I might 🇳🇱

1. First glance: Canals & Sunshine ☀️

4. Boast full of strangers spreading joy 🚤
5. Towers that tell Centuries of stories 🕰️
6. Red Light District in day light
7. Stumbling into antique markets and wanting to buy it all. 🎨

📍 Welcome to Portsmouth: from soaring towers and historic ruins to a sky bursting with kites, this city has surprises at every corner!

Fun Fact: It’s Britain’s only island city and home to the Royal Navy for over 500 years 🚢. It is one of the sunniest places in the UK 🇬🇧 Yes! Sunshine ☀️ does happen here.

⛪️ The Royal Garrison Church: Built in the 13th century, partially destroyed by a WWII bomb, and now beautifully roofless in parts. History you can walk through, rain or shine.

The Spinnaker Tower: 170m tall and shaped like a ship’s sail ⛵️. The Portsmouth City Council wanted a landmark to celebrate the city’s maritime heritage and attract tourism. The Sail shaped structure represents Portsmouth’s strong connection to the sea and now is one of the most visited attractions and major symbol of the city.

🪁 Portsmouth International Kite Festival: is a long standing international renowned event. It’s become one of the 23 biggest kite festivals in the world. It attracts skilled kite flyers from all over the world, showcasing their art with kites.

From medieval ruins to modern towers and colorful skies, Portsmouth’s stories are worth every step and every swipe.
