This week has been incredibly heartbreaking for myself and my family. I’m sharing my brother’s obituary here for those who have reached out (link in profile). To everyone who has called, texted, messaged, or shown up — thank you! I may not have responded yet, but please know I see you and feel your support. It means more than you know during this difficult time. Devin was my brother, my blood, and someone I loved deeply and looked up to in many ways. Dev had a big heart and always wanted to take care of people and include everyone. My heart aches for my parents, his wife Jen, his daughter Ava, my two kids and my loving wife. Losing him is something I’m still trying to wrap my head around. He was loved more than he probably ever realized and I will forever be grateful for my time on earth with him. This is my second brother I’ve lost to addiction. The sobering reality is a painful reminder of how real and relentless that battle can be and how addiction thrives in silence. God speed my brother…until we meet again. I love you by @bnatter

It’s with a heavy heart that I make this gut wrenching post. I lost my brother unexpectedly on Monday night. He was one of my best friends and I loved and looked up to him in many ways I was fortunate enough to spend the last 4 days preceding his death with him on the golf course doing what he loved. This was the last pic we took on Saturday and 48 hours later I lost him. More details on services to come soon. Right now my heart is broken and I hurt for my entire family along with his wife and daughter. by @bnatter

Happy 16th to the one that made us parents. He is the heart and soul of our family and keeps us all grounded. For me personally and the journey I have been on, this day was a milestone I wanted so badly to be a part of but wasn’t sure I was going to see. I love being a part of your life son. From golf, to chasing pheasants, to the baseball field or jamming out at a concert, my life is better with you in it. So grateful to watch you grow.
