Inevitably, slides of last week’s session on The Lot are posted — all unreleased Simic from the archive. One or two of these are forthcoming on @accessoryrecords, who knows for the rest…! A rainy afternoon with @muehls_ and @miles_mercer.

Next Thursday, join us for an Accessory Records takeover at @signalnyc.

We are joined by long-time friend of the label and day 1 supporter of both our music and our tote bags – @succubass.

Our opener @second._.contact is a kindred spirit of the Accessory Ethos with sets that glide through the funk, the freak, and the guitar-laden.

On closing duties, your humble residents. As always, we’re here to help! taken in Signal NYC by @bnblck

🧊 RELEASE DAY ❄️

My new 12” on @accessoryrecords hits the official Bandcamp store today: AR008 - Simic - An Introduction to Frost EP. Vinyl and special AR008 hats (embroidered by @fish_encyclopedia) are both available to order now. 🔗 in bio.

Three original tracks of chilly, dynamic grooves for the winter dancefloors + one dubbed out stunner of a remix by the Seattle production extraordinaires Apt. E (@apt__e ), the duo of @tondiue and @blckplms for the uninitiated. The A-side features some tech-y, melodic groovers suitable for a range of energy levels, while the B-side is more of a krautrock-dub-house extravaganza ready to send the vibes into a psychedelic cyclone.

📸 taken by my 💙 @muehls_.

And thanks as always to my number one business partner & creative collaborator @miles_mercer.

Slide 1: B1 - An Introduction to Frost
Slide 2: A1 - Third Dream
Slide 3: A2 - When the Foot Falls

🗞️ NEWS YOU CAN USE 🎃

Miles’s (@miles_mercer) new release on @accessoryrecords has hit the stands, shops, and e-commerce sites: AR007 - Occult Explosion EP.

I could give a long-winded press release, but I’ll simply say that this collection of tracks is some of the best work that Miles has done — groovy, sinister, cheeky, and powerful. I still feel lucky to be able to continue collaborating on this label with him.

Spooky season is here, so grab a record and cast your spell 🔮

Spoke with Will Pritchard for Crack Magazine (@crackmagazine) about MixesDB, MixesDB 2, and what we lose when sites like these shut down — and why trying to keep them alive is crucial.

🍄 SATURDAY🍷

Thrilled to bring @eksish___ across the pond for her NYC (and USA) debut @mansions.bar. She is a rising star of the UK scene, racking up recent appearances at Gottwood Festival and Corsica Studios, and playing regularly alongside your favorite DJs: Sugar Free, Velasco, Tommy Pickles, et. al.

AND not only that, but she is my newly minted sister-in-law. Has there been a more powerful tech-house-adjacent family in recent memory? Come down and find out with us — my brother included! by @bnblck
