Apparently, videos will now get prioritized in this new IG algorithm. And I’ve got to say, I don’t mind it so much.😳 I have an easier time making process videos than taking the time to photograph my work, believe it or not. It’s just a personal preference, and I’ve gotten most you to follow along in this journey from videos compared to images. 🤍 So here’s some behind the scenes for you on a “typical day” in my studio (Content that won’t normally get shared in a photo ☺️)

In this past month of bereavement and grief I disappeared into it, making sure I felt everything and coped with this pain properly. Two deaths in 2 weeks for my little family, my soul pup and my grandpa. We’ve been exhausted. In an instant I felt completely off balanced with that black cloud that gets shrouded over your head where you cannot feel like “yourself”, until you do…

I’ve been a little slower than usual with my shop and my processing times so I’m sorry if that has affected any of you in any way as it’s very unlike me. Some days have been better than others but mostly okay. My studio has been neglected and my work had been completely paused. As a bona fide night owl, my constant studio and office companion was my pup Jaxx meanwhile my toddler and two other dogs slept upstairs. It’s been rough. The studio felt lonely even more so because of my night schedule, so I compensated by not being in the studio at all but rather in my thoughts. Thankfully the fire is burning again and I’ve been able to work on a few things this past week that I should have ready for this weekend’s market. It won’t be my most creative, and I might not finish it all on time but we’re ready for the change of scenery and human interaction again. I might be walking around the market a little more than normally and leave my husband to man my booth lol, but we’ll be there this time. 🫶🏻 by @bncapottery

The least glamorous part of pottery is also the most important. Also, the most “procrastinated”. I have loads of buckets full of dry clay scraps, but it’s time. It’s time to finally crack down on reclaiming this clay. Nothing is wasted. This clay’s second chance starts ahorita/now ✌🏻

Not sure how long it took me to make all these matcha bowls, but I want to say it took me around 1.5-2 episodes of game of thrones 😂

That’s a fair guess.

If you skip the intro song of any game of thrones episodes, we can’t be friends. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Making roughly 80 custom tequileros for my brother’s destination wedding. I loved this whole process!!! There’s something about production pottery that clears my mind. 💆🏻‍♀️

Congratulations to the newlyweds!! @xtazzminx @quad8_ It’s time for me to share the behind the scenes of these shot glasses 😉
