I love a new to me board. A good friend gifted it to me. This one is made by @wig_surfnskate Its a pretty rad log. Triple stringer, single fin, 9'8",23",3.25". Running a Greenough 10" 4a. Thanks Kawika!! I love it! Aloha by @bncsurf

Also, Anna's first car choice was either her grandpa's custom ordered(flew to Detroit and the drove the family on a vacation from the literal assembly line. Drove it off!) early 60s 4 door hardtop Ford Galaxy! Or.... an early 70s Mazda pickup her grandma drove. Guess which one she chose? Not the one I would have.... She drives this Toyota be cause it reminds her of that old Mazda. I get it... Oh... and she chose massage school instead of helicopters. Anna is a laid back free spirit, who charges waves and rock climbs and own'd a sick little tea shop in Paia for a minute and so much more. Anna is another person I know, living here, whose life story could be a block buster movie...and that would be the toned down version. Like I said. She's rad. Aloha. by @bncsurf

I view myself as a type of fisherman. Not in the literal seafaring way. More loose perspective. I "catch" folks everyday. Some are the same faces daily and some are quick kine flyby shaka style catch and release. All the time telling folks I love them but not with words cause Im not always good at the timing. Today was Anna's turn. Did you know she wanted to be a helicopter pilot? You know, the kind that fly's skiers and snowboarders up and drops them off on remote glaciers. Makes sense... especially after I heard she used to be a tour guide.. for ice climbing. Pretty rad chick. I don't know who I love more. Her or Travis. Glad I don't have to pick. Probably Travis....

Have I mentioned I love this FARO bag? Well, I do. I think it looks good too. Keeps my board cool. Easy to use. Padded. Tough. Plus it's made by a real surfer who hated crappy bags.
