wired indeed😵‍💫 thank you @x3butterfly for having me play @wirefestival last month for their incredible ambient set! It felt healing to explore the soundscape I have been slowly brewing through my lived experience with someone who inspired me to enter this sonic realm🛸 excited to see where the wind blows me next🐛 taken in Knockdown Center by @bo0shie

We are so excited to share the first Supraliminal mix 🦋 @princess.jalpari and @bo0shie recorded this mix during the first week of 2025 while Booshie was visiting Akul in NY. Our DJ journeys have been heavily informed by sounds, dance floors, and DJs we’ve discovered in New York, so definitely full circle putting this odyssey together in the place where it all started. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed playing! Link to the full mix in our bio❣️

Booshie mystik (@bo0shie) enjoys casting spells that move you. Last spring, they warped time and sound in WXYC's production room during our Sunday presentation of Backyard BBQ. Originating from Raleigh's artistic underground, they used their collection of drum machines, CDJs, and vocal samples to create meditative yet club-ready rhythms backed by booshie's haunting cello arrangements.

WXYC Chapel Hill is UNC's student-run freeform radio station broadcasting at 1100 watts from the student union. Keep up with our programming and watch booshie mystik's full performance on Backyard BBQ on our YouTube, linked in bio.
